My name is Sara Bailly and I live in a Craftsman house with a large yard in the North End of Tacoma. I am going back to school as of September23rd so my schedule is limited. I am in school from 7:30 to 4:00 Monday through Thursday. I will still take dogs as long as the owners know I won't be home during the day. I can walk them in the morning before school, and when I get home. We have a 300 sq. ft. dog run with a tall fence on one side of the yard and a doggie door with access to the back porch. The rest of the yard is secure, but a short gate on one side keeps me from letting the dogs run around the whole yard when I am away.
We are a very active family and Clyde is a very high energy boy. He loves having doggie friends come over to stay. He is great with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, but he especially likes dogs that will chase him or wrestle. He is not food or toy possessive.
Our house is very close to the Puget Creek Trail which is a nice shady trail with lots of great places to sniff and critters to watch. The trail goes all the way out to the Ruston Waterfront where there is another nice walking trail. For dogs that don’t like the bustling sidewalks of Ruston Way we can walk around our quiet neighborhood. After a day of wrestling, running, and exploring, we can all veg out in the living room before going to bed.
I love dogs and have been working with them for many years. I was a veterinary technician for 3 years, so I am comfortable and capable of administering all types of medication. I have a lot of experience with training dogs too, so if you're working on something with your pup I can continue that while you are away.
