Hi there! Here's a little about me:
At a very young age I developed a deep interest in the canine world! I immersed myself in any information I could get in any way I could get it. I only had 1 family dog while I was growing up, a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever mix, and we lost him in a tragic accident. After that, I fell deeper into my research and spent most of my time reading. Going through my teenage years, I owned and rescue/re-homed several dogs. A West Highland White Terrier, a Lab/Chow cross, 2 Cane Corso's, an Alapaha Blue Blood Bulldog/Saint Bernard cross, a Black Lab, a Goldendoodle, a Mastiff/Saint Bernard cross, and now an American Bandog.
I have also had several cats and litters of kittens around while growing up and in the present.
I have a certificate in Canine Behaviour and Cognition and also completed a Level 1 Veterinary Assistant Course.
The house I live in has a very large, fenced in backyard equipped with an in-ground pool to cool off during a hot day. This house also comes with a dog door for all day access outside. There is a park and a tennis court located behind the house. The Petrolia Discovery has trails, perfect for our little hikers. There is also a small dog park there. If you'd like your dog to join in on a pack walk, that is also available as my personal dog has a very calm demeanor and accepts all dogs. She is up to date on all shots, microchipped, spayed, well trained, excellent with children and felines, does not bark, and loves company.
I have a medium/large sized winter and rain coat for those needing one during our walk. I also have a reflective vest for night walks, size small/medium. I have many collars of all sizes here if needed, as well as leashes and harnesses. Also one large crate, 1 big comfy dog bed and my own personal bed, as well as chairs, couches and comfy carpets for guests to "paws and relax". :)
