Hey y’all, I’m Clare - I’m 22 and have lived in the district for about 5 years. I’ve loved being around animals since I was a little kid. Where I grew up in Georgia, I was the neighborhood pet-sitter and helped look after dogs of all sizes and personalities. I worked briefly at Camp Bow Wow in Colorado – where they have daycare and overnight boarding for dogs. There I learned more about how to work with aggressive big dogs and look after little feisty small dogs. I live with my parents and our two labs in Petworth. Junior is our 13-year-old black lab and Bear is our 1-year-old chocolate lab. Bear goes to the dog park everyday, and the both of them love our weekly walks in Rock Creek Park. They also frequently visit my job and jump off the dock at Key Bridge Boathouse in Georgetown. I’d love to have the opportunity to take care of your pet while you’re out of town or take them on their daily walks!
