I love dogs, big and small. I have owned several, and miss having one but do not want the overall commitment. I volunteer at our local shelter walking dogs, but currently they have all been adopted!

Cindy was great with Harry. She took for a long walk or 2 a day. I've used other sitters before and could tell he was content when I picked him up. He was happy to see us but he wasn't anxious. Cindy doesn't have a dog of her own so he got all of the attention. She does have a cat. He had never been around one before but they worked it out!

I love to walk, and belong to a local hiking club. There are 1,000's of acres of forest within 10 miles of my home; and also a paved walking area that is plowed in the winter. I have a yard, and although it is not fenced, I have ties in the front and back yards.

I often care for my sister's Great Pyanees mix, and enjoy my time with Nugget. I have also cared for a Doberman, and a Scottie, in my home.
