Hi there! I'm Christine, a 39 year old dog lover who is new in town. I am interested in helping out with all types of animals: dogs, cats, fish, hamsters, reptiles, birds....but my main focus and skill is with dogs. I have owned dogs my entire life, and love all breeds. I have a natural comfort with dogs and simply love being in their presence. My current pet is Chloe, a five year old female Chug (Chihuahua/Pug Mix) and she is very laid back and friendly. She gets along well with all breeds of dogs, tolerates cats and they tolerate her, and she is a huge suck to humans!! Just because I have a small dog, doesn't mean I don't also love the larger breeds as well, In my life I have owned Rottweilers, Boxers, Pit Bulls, German Shepherds and mixed breeds of everything in between! I'd love to meet your dog to see if we would be a good fit. I can sit at my home or yours, whichever is easier and I am very flexible with pricing and payment. I just love animals and so my favourite thing to do is be with them, and leave their owners feeling relaxed and comfortable knowing their dogs are will taken care of (maybe even spoiled) while they can't be together. I have a small vehicle that is inexpensive on gas so travelling to your place for a walk or visit-picking up or dropping off your animal will be easy. You would need to provide your own crate if your dog requires one... as Chloe doesn't like to share hers! Chloe was crate trained, and stays in her crate when I am out but she's also allowed on my furniture and in my bed. Your dogs rules and training expectations can be discussed, and I am open to accommodating your wishes. I live close to the St. Lawrence River so walks to the water and to places where your dog can be let off leash to run are possibilities if you're comfortable with that.
