Pet care experience
I have been a Rover sitter since winter of 2016 and I have absolutely loved it. As someone who loves animals of all kinds, there is no better way to spend my free time than hanging out with adorable pets. Because I enjoy working with animals so much, I can assure you that in looking after your little one I'll be thorough, thoughtful, and, above all, loving. For a little personal background, I am a rehabilitation technician at a skilled nursing facility in Charlottesville. I am native to Virginia, but have only lived in the Charlottesville area for about 2.5 years. I am an avid hiker and love to take multi-month long distance hiking trips. That said, I am very outdoorsy and would love to take your dog for a hike or long walk! Of course, there's no better way for us all to get to know one another than to have a face to face meet and greet. Christine did an amazing job house and pet sitting for us! She was flexible with last-minute schedule changes and incredibly communicative. I loved receiving updates and pictures of our cat and dog while we were away, and she left our home in pristine condition. I would hire her again in a heartbeat!
We were very pleased when Christine house sat and cared for our two dogs. She was conscientious about brushing burrs out of one of the dogs' fur. They were both happy and secure when we returned home. We would definitely book Christine again.
Christine and Ross were great! They’re very communicative, we would get messages and pictures daily with updates on our dogs and any questions they had. They were house sitting as well and our place was clean and well kept when we returned. Would recommend them and would definitely use them again.
Christine has taken great care of our dogs! She walks our active pit pup and plays with our big American bulldog while my gf and I are at work. When we get home we can tell they have been exercised and we love the photo updates we get from Christine when she is with our dogs. Christine was very thoughtful and even took notes when she first came to meet us. She was also flexible and accomadating to our situation. Would definitely recommend Christine to anyone who needs someone to look after their pets and we are so glad to have found her!
