Pet care experience
My name is Christina and I live in the West Rogers Park neighborhood of Chicago. I am available for overnight boarding, day care or drop in service while you are out of town. I work from home, therefore your pet will never be alone longer than a few hours to run errands or have dinner. My home has a fully fenced in back yard for your dog and my dog to run around and play. My almost 7 year old Hound/Labrador Retriever Mix loves other dogs and has never been aggressive or possessive. She loves to run, play with her toys, bark at the mailman, eat treats and sunbathe. I am available most Holidays and weekends. I have raised several dogs and dog sat for several other dogs over the years. Also, I have experience cat sitting and can provide home visits for cats while you are out of town.

Christina and her sweet friendly dog, Maggie, took good care of my anxious dog who doesn't do well in strange surroundings. I was so relieved to find how smooth the transition was for him! Christina's home has a fenced-in backyard for him to play in. He obviously got all the loving human attention an anxious dog needs because the next day he was happy to jump in the car when, on previous returns from Rover, he would have run from me. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommend. Thank you Christina!
We had a very good experience having our dog(Mango) stay with Christina and Maggie for a day. Christina was very responsive and accommodating. Mango came home very tired and happy! Thanks Christina!
Christina was great and extremely accommodating. I had to change the pick up/ drop off time and Christina was able to work with my schedule. Our dog really liked staying with Christina and Maggie and she was happy and tired when she got home:)

I have a fenced in yard. I can crate if necessary and also utilize dog gates to block off area if needed. I have all necessary bowls and toys, no need to bring anything extra. Dogs are always fed separately. Please let me know if any past behavioral issues. Please have dogs tags.

Maggie is a very sweet, gentle dog with a big bark. She has always walked away from aggressive dogs at the park, loves day care and when other dogs play with her toys, she patiently awaits her turn. She hates loud booms and strangers walking in to her home.
A typical day
(As Maggie) My daily routine it to wake up when my people do, go out, eat breakfast and then take a morning nap while the humans answer some emails. After that it's GO TIME. There will be running around the yard, barking at the neighbors walking by to protect them from other neighbors, sunbathing if it's nice. If my human's can get their act together, there will be an afternoon walk to the park. I mean MY park. I get lost of treats throughout the day, but they are these chintzy training treats. When are they gonna spring for the big stuff! A girls gotta eat! After dinner, it's time to see what dog videos my Dad dog is watching. After I'm all relaxed, the mean humans make me go out to potty one last time before bed.
