When I was a kid, I would cat & dog sit for my friends & walk my friend's dogs. I also helped an elderly lady walk her dog. Now, I have 2 cats of my own & had cats in the past. I have experience working with traumatized animals that are usually too shy or scared for other sitters. My two cats are fosters that became my cats, both from horrible hoarding situations and significant trauma that makes them afraid of humans and other animals. I have experience clipping nails and giving cats medication as well. When I cat sit your cat, I will spend some time there and let your cat get comfortable with me. I rather it's not a terrifying experience & I think a cat needs social attention not just food & water. If you have other animals like birds or gineau pigs, I am willing to learn how to take care of these and sit them. I have experience taking care of fish & used to run the classroom aquarium at school.
