About Lydia

You can rest assured that your pup will be loved and doted upon, so you can relax on your well earned vacation!

(Discounts may apply for extended stay, multi-dog, etc!)

BIG OR SMALL, THEY ARE WELCOME ALL!

I will care for and love your dog as if it were my own, and individual needs are always considered. Typical care includes walks to a nearby dog park, (or an exciting wooded creek trail). Some dogs may enjoy fetch games in our safely fenced yard. Smaller dogs may be happiest in a warm lap.

Older dogs are especially welcome at Casa 4 Pups, where there are no stairs to worry about.

~~ Read more about me and my experience below ~~

I love all animals and I am lucky to share my life with a 30 year old horse named Stevie, and our cats Major Tom and Ziggy.

Through the years I have had experience owning and caring for many breeds, including several Labradors from the Canine Companion Institute programs. Puppies in training as well as adult breeder males. My past training experience allowed me to support the current focus of the CCI dogs I cared for.

I raised and trained my first Chihuahua puppy when I was 13. April my Border Collie was my greatest teacher... an 8-week old pup with an unmatched desire to learn that swept us both into the highest levels of Obedience training, Agility, and finally Sheepdog work.

I am happy to answer any other questions you may have.

We love going to Lydia's house! They have fun and get to wreak havoc!
We love Lydia! My dogs are happy to be with her and I feel great about leaving them in her care.
Outstanding, super-animal-friendly people! My girl had the best time, ate well, slept well (based on the regular picture updates) and was worn out. Thank you!
This was our first time using DogVacay and it couldn't have been a better experience! Lydia was amazing to our pup Zhanum, and was so kind, compassionate, and patient with her. She sent multiple photos a day, and was so flexible and accommodating with our schedule. I really couldn't say enough positive things about Lydia: she's wonderful with dogs and absolutely delightful to spend time with too!

Lydia was great! Responded to my request almost immediately, and was so accommodating. My dogs were walked and loved! I am so glad I found her :)
Lydia is an awesome, compassionate person with a wonderful 6th sense for animals! My little blind dog stayed with her and just had a ball. When my little one wanted to hang out on her patio, Lydia moved her work station outside to keep an eye on her. They visited the park twice, & had fun playing with the hose, and Lydia took the cutest photos & video of their day. I would be totally confident leaving my dog in her care any time!

This was our first time using dogvacay and couldn't be happier with the site and with Lydia and Rand. We had to find a place for Lucas (our pittie mix) late notice. Lydia got back to me within a few hours of emailing her. When we dropped Lucas off we were able to see how him and Blue (another dog they were watching) got along and felt comfortable as Rand went over everything with us. They had a blast. Rand was very sweet and took the dogs on walks a few times a day and to the park down the street, daily. I received texts and pictures of our four legged son, which was a great comfort for us. We would recommend using Lydia and Rand for taking care of your dog! We will use them again if we are ever in the area again. Thank you!
