About Carrie

10 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
Hi and welcome to Carrie's Kids.

I'm a huge dog lover with no dogs of my own, just yet. I've recently helped raise my family's yellow and black labs. Currently I dogsit for my friend's pitbull and black lab mix and for the past decade have dogsat for various friends. All dogs are great, especially the ones who like to snuggle.

At this time, I'm only watching dogs in their homes. If that's okay and you are okay with my schedule, I'd be happy to help!
I do have a Mon-Friday 9-5 job as a social worker, but once I'm home, I'll treat your dog like family.

*Side note* At my job at a local hospice, we are desperate to have volunteers and their dogs visit our patients. If you are interested in learning more, please contact me.

Carrie could not have been better with Amos. She went out of her way and above and beyond what most dog watchers will do. We could not have been more pleased and look forward to having her watch Amos in the future!
Carrie is a great and caring dog sitter. I actually love going away knowing that all three of my dogs are getting the love and attention that they need. She's punctual, responsive, loving and quick to answer all those mama texts.
Carrie is the best!!! I think the dogs were sad when we came home. She was great with the boys and made sure they had fun during "their" vacation by snuggling and playing fetch.

Carrie sent tons of updates and made sure anytime we missed the boys we saw an update to let us be worry free.

The boys can't wait until we go away on vacation again!

Carrie was fantastic! Super responsive and responsible. Great with the animals always providing frequent updates while we were away. Will definitely make use of her services again!
Carrie is great with our dog; he really enjoys her visits and doesn't seem to miss us at all!
Carrie was great! Within the first 24 hours of her stay our dog, Gilbert, was sick. She contacted me right away and she took him to the emergency veterinarian care. We appreciated the clear, open lines of communication and frequent updates. She had no problem giving him his medicine and special food. He even slept in bed with her. He is bed hog so that's special. He was very well taken care of. Our house was neat and tidy when we returned home. Would book with Carrie again with no hesitation. She is awesome!

Carrie was wonderful! We had to split between 2 dogvacay people to get the full time covered and she picked our dogs up from the first person and took them home. She met with us before to meet the dogs and we were a little nervous because we had never had anyone stay at our apartment to watch the dogs before. But we worried for nothing. We would definitely use her again! We appreciated the text updates and pictures. Thanks, Carrie!

Carrie did an excellent job taking care of our pup Ben and our two cats, at our home, for almost 10 days. She emailed and texted photos and updates regularly, left our home spotless, and went out of her way to accommodate a last-minute change in our plans, and our schedule. Ben was very happy to see us, but was calm, well-fed, and happy when we returned home. Carrie went the extra mile and left us a wonderful Thank you card - she deserves the thanks!
I highly recommend Carrie and will certainly ask her to help us again.

Carrie stayed at our house to care for our dog and three cats. She was great with providing updates, and when she came for her meet and greet you could tell that she was really comfortable around the animals. I was so glad all the animals got to keep their routines while we were gone, and when I got back they seemed happy and relaxed. It was so much less stressful being gone knowing that someone reliable was taking care of them.

Awesome as always!
We used Carrie for the 1st time when we recently went on a cruise. We have three large dogs, one of which is a over energetic puppy and another is a 14 year old senior. From the 1st day that Carrie showed up, she took her time learning each of the dogs personalities and she worked hard to make them feel loved and secure. She kept in touch every day with texts and pictures. What I really appreciated was her willingness to keep with the same routines and house rules that we use to protect the dogs, as well as our home, and to make them feel as secure as possible.

Carrie is a dog lover and her ability to work with dogs of all personalties made our vacation a relaxed one. I highly recommend her and can't wait to use her services again.

Carrie is the best! So happy to have someone so kind and responsible watching our dog whenever we go out of town!
Carrie was awesome! She watched our dog Callie in our home for two weeks. She sent very regular updates, was super easy to communicate with, and took wonderful care of our dog! She also took great care of the apartment. This was our longest trip away from our dog and I felt totally at ease. She took Callie on long walks, played with her, and even bought her a new toy! So pleased!

Carrie was great. The dogs liked her and she was prompt, courteous and communicative. She even went out of her way to make sure the dogs were covered when our flights were delayed and we weren't sure when we would make it home.
Carrie was terrific. She was prompt, responsible, caring, and proactive. I would recommend her wholeheartedly.
Carrie was great! She was accommodating to our needs, including very early drop off and very late pick up. She was sweet, patient, and warm with our giant (150 lb), slobbering, strong, often overly-affectionate Newfoundland. Her apartment is small (especially for a giant dog), but she has a balcony, which provided our winter dog with outdoor smells and a cool sleeping spot. We were thrilled that she was willing to take our dog on long walks and, indeed, it was the length of the walks that led us to choose her. We strongly recommend her to other dog owners.

We had a great experience with Carrie! She was responsive, flexible, and always kept in touch about how our dog was doing. Our dog returned to us not feeling anxious (which is what often happens when we have to leave him) and was well taken care of. I would absolutely recommend Carrie!

Carrie was the best! We were going away for only one night to a wedding and wanted to have someone stay in the house with Andy rather than worry about him adjusting to a new place. Carrie agreed and stayed at our house and we returned home to a very happy and contented dog. She sent us regular messages even though we were not gone for a long period of time. I would highly recommend Carrie to anyone!

Carrie was great. We were in a jam and she helped us out on short notice. Our dog loved it there, and Carrie was very accommodating with pickup and drop-off times. We would definitely call on her again.
Carrie has watched my 100 lb black lab twice now, and she is great. My dog, Winston, is happy to see her and is clearly well cared for when he's with Carrie. He's also quite a handful, and Carrie seems very comfortable dealing with his particular issues (some dog reactivity that could be daunting to less confident dog handlers). She definitely goes the extra mile - or in my case, many miles, as she even offered to pick me up at the airport!

Carrie was great. She was patient with my dog who can be a bit nervous at times. Sometimes my dog will not eat while I am gone, but she will eat cooked eggs. Carrie was kind enough to cook for my dog so that she wouldn't starve herself. I've given Carrie 5 stars, but for some reason it won't register it. I highly recommend Carrie for your pet.

Carrie was great! She was very responsive and flexible, and took great care of Tucker. She made sure to ask questions when she had them, and we felt sure that Tucker was in good hands. We would definitely schedule another vacay with her!
