Carrie's DUMBO Doggy Day Care

Pet care experience

I grew up on a small family farm in the Santa Cruz mountains in California. My love for all animals started at a very young age. Along side my grandma I would help her feed and care for cows, chickens, horses, rabbits, dogs, and cats. I also used to bred cocker Spaniels when I was ten. after that i had Sadie and Thomas my black lab/tuxedo cat they were my best friends and family. I've always cared for animals through out my life. Currently I have adopted a cat that was abandoned on the streets of Brooklyn his name is Percy K Kavendish aka Mr. Kittyman he's been a wonderful addition to our family. My home is approximately 2000 square feet so there's plenty of roaming around space. I'm also able to close off the art studio from the rest of the apartment if needed. Your pet will enjoy long beautiful walks along the DUMBO Brooklyn waterfront. There's also a dog park close by for fun off leash running, playing and socializing. My services would entail lots of petting, playing, cuddling, long walks, potty trips and dog park trips. They will be treated like family with all the unconditional love I have to give them.

Carrie was great and really helped us out with a last minute booking. Our pup was a little shy at first but soon warmed up to Carrie when she started playing with her. It was instantly clear how much she loves dogs. Carrie even stayed longer one day because she wanted to! Carrie shared photos of Rylie, which was provided peace of mind to my wife and I. We felt very comfortable having her at our place. We will be booking her again for sure.

Carrie is a wonderful and attentive sitter. My dog, Scout, is on the larger side and has certain eccentricities that require more attention and diligence than the average dog. Carrie perfectly handled Scout for a week and frequently sent updates and pictures showing how much fun the two of them were having. So much so that it was debatable whether Scout really wanted to come home with me after a week with Carrie. If available, Carrie will definitely be my go to sitter for Scout in the future and I would highly recommend her to anyone else needing a dog sitter.

Carrie did a great job with Maly. She was also kind enough to take Maly to the vet while I was out of town.
