Hello! My name is Caroline. All my life, I have had an absolute passion for dogs that outweighs a great percentage of things! I care so deeply for their well-being and how they are cared for. People often tell me that I love dogs’ way too much, but I personally don’t think that is possible. Growing up, my family and I had a golden retriever for about 11-12 years; his name was Rusty and he was the absolute light of our lives, as well as anyone else’s that he encountered! Unfortunately, he is no longer with us. Even when we had Rusty, I was a constant dog-sitter for family, friends, and referred clients; however, since his passing, we have not found another dog that has been able to fill our home and our hearts in quite the same way that he did. That is what made we start pursuing dog-sitting even more. Even if I don’t have a dog in my life right now, I still wanted to be able to be around dogs as much as possible! I have stayed at people’s homes, as well as having the dogs at my own house, so I am comfortable doing either. However, I do only request that if the dog is going to stay at my home, that they are 100% potty/house trained, as well as not a constant barker, and calm enough to stay inside without running around and tearing things up if I am not there; if not, I am willing to stay at the dogs’ home, in that case. My neighborhood has a huge park, that is great to go for walks or play catch. Also, I have a HUGE, fenced in yard that has plenty of grass to run and play!
