About Carol

38 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
I am home pretty much every day except for maybe an occasional appointment. I'm 58 yrs old, a mother and grandmother and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE animals.
Just 2 weeks ago we had to put our 15 yr old Dachshund to sleep.
We have owned dogs for 38 years and a (outside) cat for 10 years.
Our yard is very nice and is fenced in. We live in a nice subdivision with nice sidewalks for walks.
During nice weather I could take them for walks and play in the yard with them. Throw toys, chase, and run with them.
Our home is very large and if the pet is potty trained the pet would have free reign of the house.
I love to hold them while sitting. My husband would love that as well.
We currently have one outside cat.

Carol has cared lovingly for pets for as long as I've known her. She adored and loved her own little dog Riley until he passed away recently. Riley never wanted for anything! Carol is very sweet, caring, and loves to dote on pets :)

Carol has always had pets & they have always been well behaved & another member of the family. I would not hesitate to leave a pet with her because I would be confident it would be loved & nurtured.

Carol was great with our puppy Chester. He seemed so relaxed after his stay --in sharp contrast to how he acted when he came home from a regular kennel. She also was friendly to people.
Carol is a wonderful find! Our Kiki has special needs and the past couple of times we boarded her at a kennel, she was over-stressed from the time spent there to the point we had to get her to the vet for a shot. We were to the point that we thought we would have to just take her with us or not go somewhere she wasn't able to go. This time we were not able to take her with us and my husband found DogVacay and Carol! Kiki was in great shape when we got home and she had her happy face on! It was very obvious to us that Carol does this because she loves dogs and we felt very comfortable leaving Kiki. We will definitely use Carol again!

Carol was wonderful. We have an older, challenging dog who was did warmed to her and her Vancouver quickly. I highly recommend her!
I couldn't ask for a better place for Buster to stay. He was well loved and cared for. Being an older dog he has some limitations, but they were accommodated. He was happy and comfortable. Buster and I are seldom apart so I was nervous, but I could see that he had settled in and made himself at home. I would recommend to anyone.

Carol and her family took great care of Buddy! I was a little nervous about going away, because we rescued him just a few weeks before and he doesn't like to be alone, but he wasn't much. He was very relaxed there and loved their big back yard. I was almost concerned he would want to stay!

Carol treated our dog Roxy as if she was her own. We liked the pictures and video during her stay so we could see how she was doing. Carol worked around our schedule for dropping off and picking up even with it being a holiday weeekend. Roxy was very well taken care of and I would definitely use Carol as a sitter again.

Carol really came through for us when we were in the last minute bind, and she did a great job. She even sent us pictures and video so that we knew he was doing great. Watson came home happy! Thank you Carol!
