Hi there! My name is Andi and my husband, Phil, and I would be thrilled to take care of your pet for you. UPDATE: We recently moved to Patterson Park, Baltimore! We appreciate your patience as we update our profile with new photos, etc. About me: After spending 12+ years in DC, my husband and I decided to start a new chapter in Baltimore! With the abundance of pups in the District, it wasn't long before I began dog and cat sitting for my apartment neighbors back in 2012. I also previously worked at a veterinary clinic as an animal care specialist for the dogs and cats boarding there. I have currently been watching dogs on Rover for 6 years (since Summer '14). While I am the primary caretaker, my husband loves dogs as well and joins me on several walks. Between the two of us, we can pretty much provide 24-hour care. We welcomed our golden retriever, Stella, to the family in 2017. She loves making new friends! I love both dogs and cats and our house is conveniently located right next to Patterson Park! Stella gets to enjoy multiple walks there each day and we all love such easy access to green space in the city. I have provided overnight care in clients' homes on several occasions (especially cat owners) as I have the luxury of working remotely! This also means your pet will always have 24-hour supervision. :) Some nearby perks in my neighborhood (all within walking distance): -Patterson Park (and Patterson Park Dog Park) -Petco and Loyal Companion conveniently nearby in Canton -Lots of fun neighbor dogs if your dog likes to play! **NOTE** I typically do not watch more than two dogs in my home, as I prefer that your pet get as much undivided attention as possible. However, if you own multiple dogs that are well-acquainted with each other, I'd be happy to make an exception. In addition, my listing states that I do not host pit bull terriers. This is a case-by-case basis. If your pit is well-trained and friendly around other dogs, I would be more than happy to meet him or her! We look forward to meeting you and your pup or kitty!

Andi and her husband were great! Andi kept me informed and sent the cutest pictures throughout the weekend. My pups came back home super tired from playing with their dog, Stella, all weekend. I would highly recommend Andi as your next Rover sitter.
Our two-day stay was great! They were very communicative and responsive to Kip's needs. Highly recommend!
Andi and Phil were awesome dog-sitters! We received daily updates from Andi, along with the best pictures. Poppi and their dog Stella got along so well, and it was so reassuring to see all the photos with the two of them playing and lounging next to each other. Our dog is petrified of thunder, and Andi and Phil were so sweet with her during a storm that came through while we were gone. We (half) joked that Poppi wasn't going to want to come home after her stay. We can't wait to use them again - heck, we may need to book a stay even when we are in town so Poppi and Stella can have play time with each other.

Because there are so many other dog owners in this neighborhood, it is helpful to know if your dog is aggressive or leash reactive so we can make sure to keep them at a distance on walks.
A typical day
We go on walks in Patterson Park multiple times a day and often pop into the dog park to socialize with other pups. We also have a fenced in courtyard as well as a back deck and rooftop deck, great for getting some fresh air. Our dog loves going out to sun bathe, chase away any birds, and greet any neighbors passing by with tail wags. We have a variety of toys and rubber balls and of course a variety of treats to practice commands with.
