My dogs and I enjoy sharing our home with your canine family member(s). We are available day, night, weekends, and holidays. To provide a home-like atmosphere, your dog will have full access to our home to choose a favorite napping spot, enjoy playtime and the company of a few other friendly dogs, snuggle by the fireplace, or lounge on our large screened porch. Dogs who prefer being outdoors will enjoy a large tree-shaded yard with 6' wood fencing, locked gates, and access to a utility room. Outdoor dogs will be brought indoors during temperature extremes, bad weather, or if they prefer being indoors part-time too. Your dog's normal daily schedule will be followed to minimize any stress of missing you. No more than 2 dogs are accepted at any given time so your dog can receive the care and attention he or she deserves. Your dog's "Me time" each day is for her alone, with no other dogs for distraction. "Me time" could include a walk in the beautiful Duck Creek Greenbelt; grooming; playing his favorite games; a baked beef marrow bone (this is a favorite!); playing in the 'kiddie pool', getting a tummy rubs, scratches, and basic ear cleaning; playing 'find the ball', hide & seek, or tug of war. Extra care is taken during our hot summer months to prevent overheating.
I've been a volunteer and medical foster mom for a local dog rescue group for many years. Dogs with vision impairment, deafness, diabetes, epilepsy, are welcome upon approval. I love caring for "senior" dogs too. Providing you with the confidence and peace of mind your dog will be safe, happy, and well cared for during your absence is my first priority. We'd love to become your dog's 'home away from home'!
No aggressive dogs, please~!
