About Zoë

10 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
Hi!

I love dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. I also have 2 years experience sitting for cats as well and will happily care for your cat, whether they're part of the family along with a dog or solo.

I have history adopting shelter dogs and have experience caring for dogs with separation anxiety and other needs. I am perfectly comfortable catering to a pet’s specific needs or routine. I know how stressful it can be to leave your dog in the care of a stranger, especially when the pet needs extra care.

I am a cross-country runner and will take your furry friend for brisk exercise or a leisurely stroll. Each day includes 3 walks for your dog and lots of playtime. I am also happy to visit homes for walks and playtime. If you don't need full sitting but have a long day or an event I will give your pet companionship and care for a few hours.

I am more than happy to do whatever will help ease your mind and give your canine companion the best care.

Zoe hosted our 5 month old puppy for his first experience away from us. It went great! She sent us photos and an update, spent time playing outside and inside, and was sensitive to his needs for both exercise and down time. I liked that she has a fenced yard for exercise and only takes one dog at a time, as our puppy got plenty of attention. I would definitely use her again!

I am very please with Zoè and I would use her again! It was my first time leaving my dog and I am very happy I left her with Zoé.
Duke had a great time with Zoe. She was very caring and meticulous about making sure he was having a great and safe time. She sent great photos to keep us updated. We will definitely be back!
Zoe did a great job sitting for our two pooches - came over for a meet/greet, and spent the night. Doggies were happy and well cared for. Would use her again!
It was so comforting to know that Zoë was with our dog, Isla, for a recent long weekend. Plus, she stayed at our home, which allowed for Isla -- who has slight attachment and anxiety issues -- to feel comfortable in her own environment. Zoë was sweet, playful, responsible, and very accommodating and responsive to our requests and questions. We also loved how she kept us updated with pictures throughout the weekend! We would love to have her sit again and highly recommend her as a sitter!

I have an older dog with a bad leg and separation anxiety who isnt good with other dogs so I was really concerned about leaving her in a kennel or traditional boarding environment. Zoe was fantastic with her and made sure that she had a really great experience while we were away, even giving her her pills twice a day. I would definitely leave my dog with Zoe again. Thanks so much for taking such good care of our pain in the butt dog!

Tima had a blast with Zoe - she came home one happy and tired pup! Zoe sent great pictures/updates and was so accommodating in terms of keeping Tima's schedule and training consistent with what we do at home. I'm so happy Tima had a great time with Zoe and will definitely call on her for puppy-sitting needs in the future!

Ginger was well cared for with Zoe and we were all happy!
Diamond had fun during her stay with Zoe. I could tell because she was a happy dog on my return.

Zoe made sure she dressed warm when chilly out and took her on walks and with her in the car.

Thank you, Zoe and Diamond will see you again.

Zoe is awesome! She is kind, gentle and very flexible. She will be taking care of Diamond in the near future, therefore they got together beforehand for a playdate and Diamond had a great time.

Diamond has separation anxiety when I have to leave her and Zoe will be a good match for this issue.

I know she will be in good hands.

We want to express our sincere thanks to Zoe for her wonderful care of our senior dog. She has some special care requirements because of her age and Zoe handled these tasks with skill and thoroughness. We received regular text reports and pictures while we were on our trip and we could see that our dog was doing very well. We are so happy that she had Zoe's daily companionship and look forward to asking Zoe to look after her when we take our next trip!

Daisy is a 3 year old German Shepherd mix that I've had for 4 months. My biggest concern leaving Daisy was her occasional agitation when meeting new dogs. I've been taking Daisy to socialization classes and learned really useful information that has helped tremendously in keeping Daisy calm on walks. Zoe was very receptive to my very special instructions on how to walk Daisy to minimize any potential aggravation. Also, as Daisy is a little shy when meeting new people, I was thrilled to see a picture of Daisy happily being petted by one of Zoe's friends in one of Zoe's daily updates. Daisy seemed really relaxed when I picked her up and when she got home, she eased into our daily routine. She was clearly very comfortable during her 5 night stay at Zoe's Cozy Canine Cottage. Zoe was really easy to coordinate with, responded quickly in all of our communication, was very conscientious about all the information I gave her, provided a calm, safe environment for my pet, and made me feel very comfortable about leaving Daisy with her. I'm very happy I found her.

Zoe was great with Daisy. I've only had Daisy for four months when I needed to leave her for 5 days. She's a little shy when meeting new people, and when I did a Meet N Greet with Zoe, Zoe was very receptive to my request of how to best approach Daisy for Daisy to feel most comfortable. It only took a few minutes, and Daisy took to Zoe right away, coming up to her for pets. I decided to book a one day Day Care trial to see how Daisy would do at Zoe's for a day before deciding on a longer stay. Zoe was very flexible about drop off and pick up times and was really easy to coordinate with. And even though Daisy was with Zoe for only about 5 hours, it was still great to get photo updates and see her relaxed. When I picked Daisy up at the end of the day, she seemed really comfortable and relaxed which was wonderful to see. This made me comfortable leaving Daisy with Zoe for my trip.
