About Adam

2 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
Hi dog owners! My name is Adam and I'm happy to offer in-home dog care as well as dog walking, running, or playtime, in your home, neighborhood, or the greater Buffalo/Niagara region. Whether your dog needs more constant or personalized attention, more exercise than your schedule permits, or you simply want a family night out, I'm here for you!

I've been fortunate to live with and share responsibility for a well-trained Australian Shepherd mix for the past year. I've also looked after dogs large and small, ranging from bichon frise and beagle to cattle dog/border collie mix and chocolate lab.

What sets me apart from others is that I work 9-6 from anywhere with wi-fi, so I have a flexible schedule able to accommodate your needs. I'm able to provide attention to your pup all day in your home, as well as evenings or overnight. If you work all day and your pup needs more midday walks or simply doesn't do well at day care, I'm available. If your dog needs a more constant presence to help address house training or anxiety, I can be with them. Because I am online and by my phone all day, I can also respond quickly to your requests, and am available for last-minute needs.

If your dog requires more exercise, as an active outdoors person, I can offer a variety of activities for your dog, including:
-Short potty breaks or extended walks
-Trips to go trail walking/hiking
-Running on or off leash. As an active runner, I run between 3-10 miles most days of the week, and have completed half and full marathons over the past five years. I have a great deal of experience running with dogs to ensure their health, wellness, and discipline needs are met. The pace and distance are all up to you--as long as your dog gets what they need, I'm happy!
-Doggie play including fly ball, frisbee, and more

Should your dog need to travel, I have a dog-friendly hatchback Prius including a doggie blanket, toys, training treats, doggie bags and more. I'm happy to provide license, proof of insurance and driver record.

I'm happy to accommodate your needs large and small and fit your schedule! Please scroll down for testimonials. Looking forward to meeting you and your pups!

My family has alot of dogs (5) and Adam has cared for them often. Our dogs love him! He is super responsible, detail-oriented, thoughtful, and intelligent- qualities we definitely value in a dogsitter. In particular, our high energy, hyperacitve young border collie/cattle dog cross is always ecstatic to spend time with him. He is a long distance runner and able to provide her with the regular, more intense exercise she needs to keep her sane and happy- a huge bonus! It’s clear that Adam enjoys canine (and feline btw) company, while taking responsibility in their care very seriously. We trust Adam with our dogs completely.

Adam was a great second father to Linus while we lived together for a year. You would be hard-pressed to find a more reliable, responsible, and loving caretaker for your pet. Adam isn't afraid to be out and about for long walks, jogs, and substantial dog park visits. With Adam, you won't have to worry about a thing!

Adam is trustworthy, reliable and amazing with dogs. He sat for Finnegan, our bichon, a number of times and we were so thankful. He formed a strong bond with Finnegan who lit up every time he saw Adam. Any pup would be lucky to be in Adam's care!

Adam has been a truly wonderful companion for our fur baby. Our "baby" is a 13 year old Pit Bull and pretty set in his ways... thus he had a terrible time trying to get used to a boarding Kennel. We had never left him in a Kennel before and quickly realized that his old body simply could not handle the stress. So just a few weeks before our big trip, tickets already booked, we had to find someone trustworthy and caring to stay with our old man Champ in our home. We found this to be a daunting task, as its so hard to trust anyone with your fur baby as well as your home. We could not believe our luck when we met Adam after seeing his profile on dog vaca. He is such a kind, patient and caring person and did an amazing job looking after Champ in our home. He took much time and patience to get to know Champ before we left so that the transition would be easy. Seeing Champ bond with Adam before we left for our week long trip, provided us with great peace of mind and made our leaving much easier for Champ and us. During our absence, Adam sent pictures and updates every day. Champ does not always take to strangers easily but he took to Adams calm and caring personality quickly and was accepting cuddles and treats shortly after meeting him due to Adams expertise in dog behaviour. If you are someone who is looking for truly exceptional care for your dog and are anxious about trusting anyone else but family with your fur baby, we highly recommend Adams dedicated care.

Adam is a kind, good natured, responsible, trustworthy individual. He gives me peace of mind because I know that my puppy is being cared for conscientiously and with love. He even thoughtfully sends me pics throughout the day!
