Our home is very dog-friendly: minimal furniture, few places or things that typically get a dog in trouble! We have a fully fenced-in back yard with lots of interesting things to smell, comfortable grass to lay in, and some squirrels to keep us company. We lost our beloved 11-year old yellow lab named Buddy in December 2014 and fostered a black pitbull, Ruby, from January to December 2015. Ruby was a difficult rescue; she was reactive to other dogs and had to be the only pet in the household. We worked with her and showed her how to be a family dog for almost a year, then found the perfect forever family for her. We miss both Buddy and Ruby and will shower your dog with love and care. We befriend dogs wherever we go, often remembering the dog's name easier than we do their human's!
I work from home and will usually be around to spend time with your pet. Walks are my favorite time of day and we'll go for at least three walks per day.
Please bring your dog's bed, harness/collar, leash, favorite treats and enough food for the time he or she will be in our home. Plan to spend 15 - 30 minutes with us when you drop your dog off to go over any instructions and to help with the transition.
Looking forward to meeting your four-legged family member. We'll take good care of him/her for you while you're away.
