About Brenda and Val

12 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
Boarding more than one dog is possible, depending on breed and size. Dog-friendly home with minimal furniture, few places or things that can get a dog in trouble! Fully fenced-in back yard with lots of interesting things to smell, comfortable grass to lay in, and some squirrels to keep us company.

I work from home and will usually be around to spend time with your pet. We'll go for at least two walks per day.

We lost our beloved 11-year old yellow lab named Buddy in December 2014 and fostered a black pitbull, Ruby, from January to December 2015. Ruby was a difficult rescue; she was reactive to other dogs and had to be the only pet in the household. We worked with her and showed her how to be a family dog for almost a year, then found the perfect forever family for her. We miss both Buddy and Ruby and will shower your dog with love and care.

Please bring your dog's bed, harness/collar, leash, water and food bowls, favorite treats and enough food for the time he or she will be in our home. Plan to spend 15 - 20 minutes with us when you drop your dog off to go over any instructions and to help with the transition.

Looking forward to meeting your four-legged family member. We'll take good care of him/her for you while you're away.

Brenda is not just a dog lover and exceptional "dog parent" - she's an advocate who cares for the health, safety, and well-being of all dogs. She's great at training but also at setting and maintaining proper boundaries. Her favorite part of the day is playing and exercising - both herself & her dogs! Your dog will be happy, safe, and pampered at Brenda's house.

Brenda and Val took absolutely fantastic care of Grace and Pia. Warm, welcoming, and trustworthy, we'd have no hesitation contacting them anytime we need someone to watch our babies while we are away. Thank you again for making our trip worry free :)
WOW!!! Brenda and Val are an awesome team and my dog loved being with them. I received daily photo updates and my pup received the best treatment. At the end of the visit, my pup didn't even want to come home with me. LOL.

Thank you Brenda and Val for providing my dog a safe and fun environment while we were out of town.

Highly recommend this couple :)
Brenda and Val welcomed Aspen with open arms and healthy dog treats during our initial meet and greet. We could tell that Aspen felt secure in the unfamiliar setting and with the new friends. Their backyard is like a peaceful retreat, and their home is very pet friendly. Brenda and Val have a genuine love and compassion for animals, and they have the integrity to follow any specific instructions that you would leave for your pet. We enjoyed receiving the pictures that they sent of Aspen having fun. If you are looking for quality care for your pet, look no further-- Brenda and Val are exemplary hosts!
