Dog-friendly home with minimal furniture, few places or things that can get a dog in trouble! Fully fenced-in back yard with lots of interesting things to smell, comfortable grass to lay in, and some squirrels to keep us company. Boarding more than one dog is possible, depending on breed and size.
I work from home and will usually be around to spend time with your pet. We'll go for at least two walks per day.
We lost our beloved 11-year old yellow lab named Buddy in December 2014 and fostered a black pitbull, Ruby, from January to December 2015. Ruby was a difficult foster; she was reactive to other dogs and had to be the only pet in the household. We worked with her for almost a year, and showed her how to be a family dog, then found the perfect forever family for her. We miss both Buddy and Ruby and will shower your dog with love and care.
Please bring your dog's bed, collar (with tags), harness if needed, leash, favorite treats, and food. Plan to spend 10 - 15 minutes with us when you drop your dog off to go over any instructions and to help with the transition.
Looking forward to meeting your four-legged family member. We'll take good care of him/her for you while you're away.
