Pet care experience
Dogs have always been a part of my life, but I am not currently in a position where I can have my own dog. So I would love to help you care for your pet! I have 5 years of experience with volunteering at animal shelters and working with rescue dogs (currently with Last Hope K9), as well as experience dog-sitting for a variety of breeds, sizes, and ages. I do own a rabbit, but he is caged and in a separate room that can be closed off. I work full-time (9am-5pm, M-F) but I am close enough to come home during my lunch hour and I could potentially bring the dog to work depending on their temperament. I also have my own car so I can pick up/drop off pets, drive them to the vet in case of emergency, or drive to your home to take care of your pet. I've even been known to take dogs on car rides to places like the Arnold Arboretum during their vacation with me!

WOW! Veronica did a great job taking care of our Golden Retriever, Nemo. Nemo had knee surgery and we had already planned a 10 day vacation away! We were quite particular in needing a sitter with no other dogs (so Nemo wouldn't injure his surgical site by playing with other dogs) and no stairs. Veronica's place was perfect! From the day we dropped Nemo off, Veronica kept us up to date with pictures and feedback about how he was doing. On pick-up, Nemo was happy and well groomed. We would highly recommend Veronica to anyone who wants a loving and compassionate sitter!
Veronica was very responsible, kind and accomodating to my schedule. I really appreciated her care of my dog. She even bought a brush to comb his fur! Arlo was happy and very handsome when I picked him up! I would definitely use her again.
Veronica was great! She clearly loves dogs and was very easy to communicate with and was very flexible with my changing schedule.

A typical day
My apartment building is right next to a small, dog-friendly park, with several dog parks within walk distance. I am a big walker and hiker, so your dog will have plenty of exercise and activity with me!
