Dogs have always been a part of my life, but I am not currently in a position where I can have my own dog. So I would love to help you care for your pet! I have 5 years of experience with volunteering at animal shelters and working with rescue dogs (currently with Last Hope K9). I do own a rabbit, but he is caged and usually behind a closed door.
My apartment has elevators (which is great for senior dogs), and is within a 1-2 block radius from 3 different parks, so I can easily take your pet for frequent walks. I am a very active person who loves to go for runs, walks, hikes, and just spend a lot of time playing outside.
I also have my own car so I can pick up/drop off pets, drive them to the vet in case of emergency, or drive to your home to take care of your pet. I've even been known to take dogs on car rides to places like the Arnold Arboretum during their vacation with me!
I am a full time student at Boston University and I work part-time, but my schedule has a lot of availability/flexibility. I may be gone for a few hours at a time, but I always ensure that dogs get at least a morning walk, an afternoon/evening walk, and a nighttime walk.
My boyfriend Brian helps me to watch your pets and to make sure they have a fun and happy experience on their vacation. He is also a very active, outdoorsy person with 10+ years of experience owning/caring for dogs.
