My husband and I still miss our furry little canine family member who passed away over a year ago at age 16. We're not ready for the full time commitment of another dog but miss having dogs in our life! We already started getting our "dog fix" by caring for dogs of friends and family so this seems like the logical next step.
We will happily host your family member with loving care at our clean, safe home with a fenced back yard and great walking neighborhood near the Monon. Although the fence is helpful in deterring a potential escape artist, please know that we will never leave your family member unattended in our yard.
We ask that our guests be house trained (of course we understand accidents can happen in a new environment!), on flea protection and current on vaccinations.
Meet n' Greet not required but strongly encouraged. If the reservation request doesn't allow time for a meeting, we'll conduct a 2-way phone interview that allows us and you the opportunity to address any questions or concerns. We want to provide as much consistency as possible between how your pooch sleeps, eats, exercises, plays and hangs out in our home and in yours.
Our goal is for your family member to feel love and security throughout the visit and have as much fun with us as we certainly will with them!
