Hi, my name is Brittany and I'm the proud owner of a senior pet. I have a 12-year-old Chihuahua named Meeko. Due to his age, and small breed, I'm used to dogs with special needs and have experience with post op, administering medication and caring for grouchy personalities. I also have two cats that are 3-years-old each. They're large breed cats that are super fluffy and playful. They have sensitive tummies, so I'm used to pets with food restrictions. My main concern is walking dogs that are very strong, who pull hard on the leash. I once volunteered for a "bully" dog walking event and that dog walked me instead of the other way around! I don't have breed restrictions but I do understand that every pet is different and it's good to feel out the personality of a pet, or consulting with the owner before diving in.
