I am a Dalhousie University student who loves working with animals. Growing up on a farm in Ontario has given me experience caring for animals since I was a child. Our family pets usually included cats, dogs and horses, so it was quite hectic at times.
In high school I volunteered at a veterinary clinic. It was my job to walk the dogs, clean cages, feed and water the animals, administer medication and assist the vet techs with a variety of other tasks. Recently I also spent a summer working as an Animal Care Technician at Dalhousie. This gave me some mouse, rat and guinea pig handling experience, so you can expect me to be comfortable caring for a variety of pets.
Your dog, cat or any other creature can expect the best care. I will be sure to provide them with a lot of exercise and play, regular grooming, companionship, preferably from the comfort of their own home. I unfortunately cannot accept pets at my current residence.
I look forward to meeting you and your pet!
