About Holly

30 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
Hello and Welcome!

A bit about myself as a host:
I am a veterinary technician and behavioral trainer with a peaceful and clean home where your dog(s) will be safe, cared for, and comfortable. Please note: I care for cats, too! Pets are my life's passion; please see my photos for examples of the joy which caring for them brings me.

Types of care offered here:
I provide regular care as well as that for many different types of medical needs, from the administration of oral and injectable medicines to intravenous fluids. Rehabilitative care post-surgically and from injury or illness is something I also offer. I have many dog beds around, both plush and posturepedic. My home is a ranch-style and there are no stairs, making it very accommodating for more geriatric or mobility-challenged pets. I'm available to provide 24/7 care if needed.
The dogs are monitored for every activity, whether they are eating, playing, or even when going out to potty. I have a very large bedroom where they sleep either in my bed, on dog beds, or in a crate if that's where your dog is most comfortable.
Additionally, for parents who are more concerned about their pet's flight risk, I use GPS monitors to ensure their safety, even though the dogs are monitored at all times (indoors and out).

Daily activities:
Walks, hikes, car rides, interactive games, and cuddles are daily activities I am able to provide here. I want to work with you to put together a plan for your pet's stay to not only cater to their needs and comfort but also to your wishes for the kind of stay they will have while here. Please look through my photos for a glimpse at what our typical days look like.
Appointments/Rides:
I am available to pick up/drop off your pet for their stay here. Also, in addition to the special medical care I am able to provide, I am also able to safely transport pets to the vet/other appointments.

Communication during your pet's stay:
I welcome your text messages, phone calls (including FaceTime) and emails while they are here. Additionally I provide regular photo updates so that you will have a view of the stay your dog is experiencing, which will hopefully give you peace of mind and contentedness.

While I am new to Dog Vacay, I have many years' experience caring for pets and happy to provide you with references. I offer discounts for multiple pets and I'd be happy to put together a custom quote for you.

Trusting someone to care for a dog that you dearly love is a hard thing to do..

I have been taking my dog Gilbert to Holly G for several years and I was excited hear she was going to partner with DogVacy. Now I always know what days she has openings and I have the peace of mind of having insurance should something happen to Gilbert when I am away. Holly also provides pictures and regular updates so I can see how much Gilbert was enjoys his stays.

For me, the most stressful part of traveling for work is worrying that Gilbert is happy, comfortable and well taken care of. When I leave him with Holly I never worry because I know he is in very capable hands. Gilbert is older and does not get around well but Holly makes sure all of his needs are addressed (including medication) and provides huge comfortable beds for Gilbert to sleep in. I actually have a hard time getting Gilbert out of the bed when it is time to go home.

Gilbert truly loves Holly and her resident dogs. Holly's dogs are very kind and loving which is just the kind of company Gilbert needs when I am away.

I am so grateful to have found her services! I know Gilbert is too.....
