About Sophie

10 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
Hello! I'm a Temple medical student and a dog lover. I have a 3 year old boxer named Scrubs who loves hanging with other dogs in my apartment. During the day we go for walks and if its nice out, hang in the backyard and run around (which is completely gated).

I have a clean smoke free apartment with fuzzy carpets and hardwood. Since I'm on the second floor, I have a set of stairs your dog can run up and down if they are into that type of thing. There are fun plants like banana trees and fig trees to keep the air clean (and hopefully give me fruits some day).

If you would like, I can give your dog a shower, as I do this with Scrubs all the time. However, I only offer this service for short haired dogs.

We also go running around with other dogs at the parks nearby, since this neighborhood is very dog friendly (over 60% of the residents own dogs!). Anyways, we would love to have your dog come over and stay with us!

Sophie was great! She sent us several pictures over the weekend. Very good host, highly recommend.
Great host!
Jake and Scrubs were fast-friends! Sophie is a great sitter and was very attentive, reliable, and flexible. My plane was delayed and she was very accommodating. She sent pictures of Jake, which we loved!
Sophie and Scrubs are great hosts! We had Jake stay with them for 2 weekends in a row and it was a wonderful experience. Sophie is very responsive and accommodating, especially when my flight was delayed. She sent pictures often of Jake and Scrubs playing together. We will definitely give Jake a DogVacay to Sophie's apartment again!

Sophie, the sweet, gentle, caring and fun loving "away from home" Mom. From the pictures she sent, I could see that skipper was having lots of fun and feeling right @ home. When I came to pick him up, he wasn't absolutely sure that he wanted to leave! THANKS, Sophie! You're the best!

Sophie took really good care of my shi tzu/yorkshire terrier mix. How do I know this? When I picked up my dog, she was RELAXED. You have to understand, I have one of those strung-up little hyper dogs that thinks she's a lion. I did not know she COULD be relaxed. She was so chill when I went to get her that she did not realize that I'd put her in the car and FORGOT to hyperventilate for LIKE THE FIRST 10 MINUTES of the car ride home. It was amazing!!!

I should also mention that at first I was worried about leaving her with a boxer (since they can play pretty rough and might step on her) but we did a meet and greet before hand and "Scrubs" is actually very mellow, and very very well trained. They got along great. I would definitely recommend this place.
