BOARDING FOUR DOGS? We'll refer you to a great psychiatrist.
Welcome! So glad to see that someone appreciates their pets as much as we do!
When we moved to Laveen, we realized that there was practically no service out here for doggie daycare, dog boarding etc. This left us in a bit of a tizzy when we'd need to find accommodations for our kids; and by kids I mean our two Great Danes! So we decided to fix the problem ourselves.
So here we are. We own a large two story home with a large backyard and a fenced in pool. Obviously, if it's enough room for our Danes, it's enough room for your fabulous Fido. We want to make sure that the accommodations are the best for all parties involved, which is why we will require a temperament test before the dog is allowed to stay in our home. We want to make sure that your pup doesn't have a miserable time if they're stressed out or aggressive when they get to our home.
Both of our Danes have gone through training. Zoey, our large black and white female is a therapy dog, and was trained by yours truly. (She's the one with the cast on in the last couple of pictures, as she recently had surgery to repair a painful wrist) She is six years old and is as mellow as can be. Porter, our black male, is being trained to provide therapy as well, and is 2 years old. He constantly wants to play, so if your dog is up for it, they will come home exhausted.
We also have a cat, Dante who can be locked away in the bedroom if necessary. (He likes it better in there anyway.)
If you live in the immediate area, it is not out of the question that I can go pick up your dog for you. I have an X-Terra that is secure for larger dogs or the pup can be in the back seat as well.
I am willing to brush and bathe the pup at additional cost. We have a tub and I have experience washing all sized dogs, but it would be preferred that the dog actually like getting bathed too. I don't want to stress the dog out while you're gone even more if they have a tough time with baths.
We both, my hubby and I, took classes on pet CPR about two years ago. However, we are much more prone to take the dog to the ER or a vet if something has gone wrong. We also have an EXTENSIVE DOGGY (not human) First Aid kit that includes vet-wrap, Neosporin, styptic powder, nail cutters, the works. I don't care how experienced someone is, if they are not prepared for the worst, then they are not prepared to take care of your pup.
We are more than fine texting/emailing photos and have absolutely no qualms about allowing you to Skype with your pet to see how they're doing. (However, we'd prefer the pup to not hear your voice and get depressed so we'll mute your voice during the session. :)
Also, we do charge for half-days ending at 3pm. So if you pick up on a day, before 3pm, it would be $15. After 3pm it is the full $30. Times for daycare are flexible, but no matter what, it is a flat rate of $20, perfect for a day-trip. :)
The whole family (including pets) has tiny dog experience (past 6 lb. pet Yorkie) so we know exactly what your pup will need and should get alone time away from the beasts as necessary. We do have Pitbull experience as well, and as long as the dog is well mannered and not aggressive they are more than welcome. Also, we do have a treadmill if your dog is trained to run a treadmill and can be supervised while doing so.
Lastly, safety is key for our animals and yours. This is why we have a security system with live video feed in case we ever need to leave the animals at home, they can be monitored. In addition, we have made sure that our backyard ONLY includes plants that are animal safe, in case a pup tries to ingest something they shouldn't.
We are here to make your lives easier and if it seems like your pup just isn't enjoying their time with us, we don't want to continue to have your pup come back and waste your money. In all seriousness, we truly care about the dogs and their best interests, so we are happy to be surrogate parents while you're gone for a trip. My only wish is that there eventually will be a place as fabulous as our home, for our dogs to be taken care of when we're gone. Don't hesitate to ask any questions and look forward to hearing from you soon!
Thanks for stopping by! :)

***We are willing to take dogs Mondays and Fridays, if you are going on a weekend vacation, but know that we work full time and the dog(s) will be left alone (INSIDE) for 8 hours with a lunchtime love and pee break from one of us. However, they will have afternoon and evening attention from 4-11pm. Message me about the day(s) in question and dependent on the situation, I will open the day for you to book it. :)***
