We do not have any breed restrictions but do specialize in medium to large breeds. We believe there are bad owners, not bad breeds. If your fur baby is well behaved, they are welcome here!
Note: I love cats and offer cat sitting as well as dog sitting! I’m happy to visit your kitty while you’re away. I am also open to watching hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs, mice, rats, etc.
We offer pick up and drop off within 15 miles of our location!
A typical day at Bow Wow Boarding and Doggie Daycare:
The first dog to arrive will get lots of hugs and playtime with our 2 pups, Sulley and Haru, to keep them entertained until other dogs arrive.
There is lots of barking and sniffing as each dog shows up. Invitations to play are made with the traditional play bow or the offer to join in on a game of tug.
Throughout the morning, dogs will do what they like best in our third of an acre fenced in yard. Dogs will jump and romp around, and play to their heart’s content. Organized games like fetch, catch the frisbee, find the ball, and tug of war will be run by myself, Shannon, or my 17 year old daughter, "Sissy" (Mikayla to you non fur babies!) Disorganized games with other dogs like chase me, and King of the Hill will also happen throughout the day, both outside and inside our home.
Doggie Nap Time comes each day around noon, and there are plenty of soft blankets, laps, and other dogs to snuggle with.
Our goal is to send your dog home tired, happy, and ready to enjoy the rest of her day with you!
If your fur baby is spending the night with us, they will sleep in "Sissy's" room with Haru and Sulley. There is a pull out bed that the dogs sleep on right next to where she sleeps. If you prefer, we also have options for your fur baby to sleep in a crate.
