Doggy Day Care in Westminster

About: I am an experienced dog-owner and animal lover, and have had dogs of my own for the last 15 years. I have a 70 pound Shar Pei-Pitt mix named Teddy who LOVES LOVES LOVES other dogs and would love to have a playmate around! We also live with my boyfriend and his 8 pound Chihuahua, Stewart, who mostly just ignores other dogs :). We live in NW Denver near two lakes and a big dog park, so we are quite active and get the pups out a lot. We also have a 6 foot fence around our backyard. My last dog, Miles, was a Great Dane who made it to 13 years old!! Caring for him towards the end of his life gave me experience with senior dogs and dogs with special needs. Whatever your dog needs, I can handle it! We both work from home most days (with occasional meetings at the office), so it is very rare that we are both gone at the same time. We are able to let dogs out with a lot of frequency, if needed. We have a fenced-in backyard, plenty of space for crates, and lots of experience to keep your dog safe. Dogs are allowed on the furniture and we're big cuddlers! Both of our dogs are relatively low-key, so we provide a quiet and calm environment.

I grew up surrounded by dogs, from Yorkshire to Leonberger so I am comfortable with all sizes. "A dog has one aim in life... to bestow his heart" 💕 I was a volunteer in a dog shelter before moving to CO. I adopted my first dog in that same shelter, she was abused in her past, it was hard for her to trust me at first but with time and patience she finally felt comfortable and was an amazing dog! We have a small terrier mix now, her name is Doucette (French meaning soft/sweet) She is 3 years old and full of love! Your doggie will be family and will be able to play with our little Doucette, she is a little shy at first but then she loves to play and will be happy to share her toys and have a friend to play with!

“I am a first time dog owner. Having got my pup Jackson roughly 8 months ago now i learned that his year and a half plus in foster care meant he came with some baggage (dont we all these days though). That being said it was difficult for me to just leave him with anyone. Brock my long time friend offered to watch him however when i went out of town and man what a great experience. Brock selflessly updated me with pictures took Jackson on more walks than i expected and treated Jack Jack like hisbown. Ive never had to question Brocks ability to watch my dog who can be a handful at times as a two year old staffy lab mix. Brock is patient, kind, rewarding, firm when he needs to be and not only makes me feel safe when Jackson is in his care but also shows that same safety to Jackson. I would highly recommend Brock for any dog watching or walking. I continue to this day to have him watch Jackson and Jack also enjoys the times we just come by to hang with our friend.”
