****Proud mom of a US Army Soldier*************
I have been actively involved in dog rescue for the past 5 years and also have a home childcare business. It never occurred to me to offer pet sitting services until a friend suggested it to me. I am normally always home, I love animals, I'm very trustworthy and my home and backyard is perfect for dogs. Lots of room to roam and a safe fenced in yard. We are the animal rescuers of the neighborhood!
My Husband, Brian has been very supportive of my love of animals and always smiles when I bring home a foster puppy or tell him about a sad story of a dog in a shelter--"We gotta save them all!"
In response to a review I received recently that wasn't 5 stars, where my client was concerned about the number of dogs in my care--It was a holiday, and I did have more dogs than I normally do, but I have a large customer base, and I want to do my best to always accommodate my clients. I would never put myself or your pet in an unsafe environment. All dogs are approved and I screen everyone beforehand to learn of any potential aggressive behaviors. Also, we have beautiful paved paths (new) right beside my home. Since my dogs play in the back yard most of the day, we normally will only take evening walks. Depends also on the dog...
Please communicate with me the needs of your dog, prefers long walks vs. no walks, whether playtime in the yard is sufficient, and if lazy days are good, etc.
Because of the size of my property, we can accommodate more dogs. But that doesn't mean, I can take more dogs. There is a personal limit I have--but at my home we like to socialize and play, so don't be alarmed if you arrive at my house and see 5 or 6 dogs! If your dog is shy or not used to being around other dogs, my home may not be the right fit. We allow dogs to lay on the couches, sit with us in our family rooms, share our bed at night...we are dog people and we KNOW WHAT WE ARE DOING. This is my business and I take pride in my business and the ability to work from home. My dream someday is to move farther out and open my own kennel where I can have more animals in my care and lots of open space--Animal rescue is my passion and I really want to try my best to save them all. What is Doggy daycare all about??? I open my doors every morning at 545am to accommodate people who want their pets to experience lots of playtime with other dogs while their owners work. Sometimes dogs need more exercise and pet owners just don't have the time or energy to make sure their dog is getting proper exercise--at my home, your dog will play all day and be exhausted in time for pickup!!! I will also do my best to ensure your pets experience at my home is 100x better than if you were to board your pet at a boarding facility. No crating for hours a day, active play all day everyday! Walks and safe interaction with other dogs. Your dog will leave my home exhausted and happy--I promise!!
My promise to everyone that stays with me is that all dogs in my care are fully vaccinated and healthy. It is best that when you bring over your pet they do not show any signs of illness that could be passed to other dogs in my care--Common courtesy!! We don't want to spread any sickness to the other dogs. I use bleach (diluted) on the deck and also use the services of a local yard cleaning service.
If at anytime you have any questions or want to do a meet and greet, just ask and we can set up a time to get together.
I truly encourage you to let me care for your fur babies, it's what i do, it's what I LOVE.
