If my dogs could talk....oh man. I'm alpha when I need to be, but I'm wrapped around their paws for sure. Hi, I'm Ashley. Recently I made a BIG decision to leave a prestigious career and follow my passion-DOGS!!! If I could own 10 dogs, it wouldn't be enough. My husband won't have it, so I care for others with the same love I have for my own. Giant or tiny, puppy breath or wise senior, I love them all. You tell me what your pet is accustom to at home, and I will accommodate as best I can. From beach play to a mountainous hike, or cuddles on the couch, they may not want to go home..... I live in a three bedroom house, located one block from the beach. Most of my neighbors have dogs, so I'd say we are pretty pet friendly. It only takes 5 minutes by car to find a mountain trail for hiking, so if your pet likes nature, we can hunt for banana slugs. My backyard in fully secured with 6 foot high fencing. If your pet is more comfortable inside the house, we have couches and beds for everyone's needs. Please call. I'm happy to answer any questions you might have. Why I love dog sitting Growing up, my Christmas wish list consisted of three things: a pool, a baby and a puppy. The pool never came, my mom stopped after me and my brother, and the puppy...he didn't come until I was 15. That was the best day of my young life! Since getting Otis at 15, I've made up for lost time and gone onto foster, adopt, co-parent, and dog sit 20 different fur babies. Meet my pets Remove the guilt and leave your dogs at my home not a kennel while you're away. They will experience the pleasure of living one block from the ocean, only 5 minutes by car to hiking trails, and plenty of space to run around inside a 6 foot high securely fenced yard. Once inside, there are couches and Tempur-Pedic beds for the whole pack. About my yard 15x40, 6 foot high fenced yard. Trees for shade, room for sunbathing and a tiki bar if anyone gets thirsty.....for water!

Choosing Ashley to care for my dog in her home removes the anguish typically associated with a traditional boarding facility. I know my dogs stress levels will be dramatically reduced because she is only one of maybe 5 dogs being cared for- compared to being one in 50 at a kennel. I know she will be exercised, played with, loved on and end up sleeping on a couch if not Ashley's bed like she's used to at home. I don't worry about her catching kennel cough or any number of other ailments possible at a large kennel. I know my girl, whom I consider family, will be treated like family under Ashley's care. There aren't too many people I will entrust with my escape artist husky, but Ashley is breed savvy and loves my dog like her own.
Ashley genuinely loves animals. She shows such compassion and respect towards her own dogs, my dogs, and other animals. I've been able to rely on Ashley to check on my dogs at my house when my pets would be home alone for an extended amount of time. She takes the time to feed, give water, and let the dogs run outside to stretch their legs. My dogs love her! I would trust Ashley in my home and around my pups any day. She takes pride in her work and does a great job every time. I would refer her to all my friends. Thanks, Ashley!

Here's where we'll take our walks Up to you, but there are many options to walk by the beach, on the beach, in the neighborhood, on a dirt trail, or not at all depending on the dogs needs. Your dog's sleeping arrangement Many options: my bed, the living room couch, the spare bedroom, or the dog play room on a dog bed. If they are more secure in a kennel, please bring yours and we can decide where your pet will be most comfortable. Time I'll spend with your dog As much as needed. I'm a full time dog nanny.
