Zeus has been part of my life for 8 years. We adopted Harvie in 2014 when we built our house. Zeus is a beagle and terrier mix. Harvie is a German shepherd mix (we are unsure of the breed). We have a cat, Pickles, who gets along well with dogs and likes to play/groom them. We have a fenced in back yard that backs up to a retention pond. The fence separating the yard from the water is wrought iron. We only have neighbors to one side of us and are separated by a 6ft wooden fence. We enjoy taking our dogs to a dog park in Fort Worth and going to dog friendly restaurants. We like to end a day like that oitnwith a leisurely walk down the Trinity River (they usually sleep well at night after that!) We have a large field by our house that we take the dogs to to play fetch. I am a RN and work 3 days/week. On those days I am gone for 14 hours, but my husband is able to let the dogs out and give them some attention. Work day schedules for dogs: - morning: let out at 5:30-6:00 - afternoon: let out at 12:30-1:30 - evening: let out at 4:30-5:00 and off and on after 7:00
