My name is Nicole and I would love to help care for your furry family member! I have had a love of dogs since having my own as a child and that passion led me to begin volunteering with a local rescue for the past two years. During that time, I fostered dogs in my home and successfully found loving fur-ever homes for 15 well-deserving dogs. Each rescue that I fostered has come with its own set of challenges so I am very capable of caring for pets with a wide range of personalities and specialized care. Aside from fostering dogs, our family also has two dogs of our own. Our black lab Jett, is a well-trained hunting dog that goes to work with my husband so he is typically not around during the weekday unless my husband is traveling. Our other dog, Lucy, is a 3 year old terrier that is home during the day but is used to (and enjoys!) new dogs coming and going. Because I have fostered so many dogs, both our fur-babies are used to being around many different dogs without issue. I work out of my home so my schedule is flexible and allows me the time to be an effective caregiver. I have two children ages 9 and 12 who are both animal lovers & dog friendly so we ask that your dog be kid friendly as well. Our backyard has a chain-link fence with plenty of room to run around and play or just lay on the deck and soak up some sun. Squirrel watching is an added bonus for no additional charge.
