About Ethan

**R+ stands for positive reinforcement dog training**
Ethan has a B.Sc. in Electrical engineering and is a graduate of three different dog training schools located in two different countries. He lived in Germany for four years and was involved in the process of testing army and police dogs. On 2010, he flew back to Israel and completed two different dog training schools, where he learned various training techniques. Upon moving to the states on 2012 he completed a third dog training certificate with Animal Behavior College and currently working on continuing education programs in cat training, rehabilitation of shelter dogs and the art of private training.

As a part of his schooling, Ethan spent 1.5 years in two different dog kennels and trained different breeds including few service dogs. He trained client’s dogs, as well as shelter dogs that were at high risk for euthanization. Those dogs would be placed into loving homes after being trained. Ethan participated in a program that was designed to create better relationship and understanding between children and dogs. He taught elementary school students about the different breeds and connected the children and the dogs through agility and play. He also took therapy dogs to a couple of mental hospitals, where he was so pleased to see how some of the patients, who would not communicate with anybody else, would just sit for a long hour and pet a dog or talk to them. Those dogs were a blessing to the patients, teaching them to trust. Ethan was also a part of a trainer group that rehabilitated shelter dogs in Israel. The dogs would be initially evaluated and then a training program would be put into place to ensure that the dogs would get to a more adoptable state and would be less likely to be returned to the shelter. All shelter dogs were trained with positive reinforcement and marker/clicker training. Ethan also participated in a Red cross Canine Good Citizen program on Fort Knox, KY and volunteered in various dog shelters.

Ethan has lots of experience in pet sitting and animal care in all three countries he lived in and offers an in-home boarding in a big house with a great yard and most important- lots of love and care to your pooch.

Ethan was great! My dogs had a great time and we will be using Ethan's services again!
Ethan provided excellent care and love for our dogs in our home while we were on vacation. He came over a day early to go over and receive directions on how to care for our 14 year old dog as well as our 2 1/2 yr. old dog.
He sent daily e-mails and pictures and made sure each dog received their meds , food and treats.
The dogs seemed happy and well cared for when we returned.
We will definitely have Ethan care for them again! We can travel without worrying about them -what a blessing.
I've boarded my dog Kimba twice with Ethan for extended stays over 7 nights and both times I've been very happy with the experience.

Kimba is a rescue dog and can be skittish around strangers, but he was immediately comfortable with Ethan and his wife and even slept in their bed :) They are like dog whisperers!

Also, the interactions he received with other dogs while there has been wonderful. Ethan takes special care to make sure it is a safe and positive environment for all the animals. This was apparent to me the first time I brought Kimba for a meet and greet.

What impresses me even more is how Ethan took pictures and sent videos throughout the week so that I never had to worry how Kimba was doing. I could enjoy my vacation knowing my pup was in great hands and having fun going on walks and trips to the dog park. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to board their pet!
