I live in a dog paradise near platte clove in West Saugerties , NY. I have taken care of many dogs and have a natural affinity with them. Friends call me a dog whisperer. My house has a secure fenced in 1 acre yard near beautiful dog friendly hiking trails. I am a self employed artist so I work at home and I love canine company. I am waiting to get another dog of my own. For people skiing or attending events in the mid Hudson area, this is a great place to leave your best friend and know they are well taken care of, as my references show. Easy drop off on the way to Hunter. I didn't board dogs for the last year due to caring for an elderly dog who has now moved. He's good, but no longer living here, so please visit. You'll love it. I am a self employed artist who works from home so I will be at home with the dogs all the time, and I take walks daily. I offer exercise, positive attention, training, and meals on schedule, for the dogs who stay with me. My fenced in yard makes it easy and fun.

Richmond was great with our dog keeping us updated with pictures and his daily activities. He has a wonderful fenced in yard and will go on hikes. Our dog had his own vacation while we were away.

Richmond was great with my dog who is normally uncertain of men. He was patient with my timid dog and was able to build a bond through long scenic walks and restful times. I feel so comfortable booking him again soon.
HORRIBLE. My dog was attacked by another dog while under Richmond’”s “care.” He required surgery. My dog is sweet and nice and should not have been left with an aggressive animal. If you care about you pet do NOT leave them here.
