While my pet care experience isn't extensive, my love for dogs is enormous. I currently have one puppy. His name is Mowgli and he's an 1 year old Dachshund mix. He's the first dog I'm able to call my own. If I loved him anymore, I'm not sure he could handle it. I had three dogs growing up and miss them always.
Mowgli and I live in a three bedroom house with 2 roommates. We have lots of space, and a yard, so he runs around constantly. There is a small doggie door to the yard so pups can go in and out whenever they please.
I currently work a full time job, so unfortunately I don't have great availability. However, if I'm not working I'm always willing to take in a pup. When I go to work, I kennel Mowgli. If you need a sitter/overnight and I do have work, I'm willing to let your dog run free if that's what they do at home, or I can kennel them. It's whatever makes you and your pup comfortable! Since I can't add specific hours of availability to my calendar, most days will say available. Message/text/call and I can give you my actual work schedule to see if it works for you! I work 8 hour shifts, and unfortunately can't come home until the shift ends. However, my two roommates are usually home sometime between my shift and are always willing to help out, let the dogs out for a potty break, and give them some attention.
Mowgli get's along great with other dogs after he gets a good sniff session first. As a dachshund he can be very territorial but he warms up quickly. He's never met a dog he didn't like. He especially loves puppies his age, someone that can keep up with his high energy. He'll definitely wear your pup out if they get to play together.
As an agreement with my roommates, I am unable to take big dogs. I have some exceptions, or if you're in a bind I can usually talk my roommates into letting me take them in. I am also only able to accept one dog at a time, again with a few exceptions.
