Brodi had a great stay with Allison. He seemed well cared for and she reported no problems with his stay. Thanks!
My dog had a great time, he was so tired he took a long nap when we got him home. This tells me they keep him active,he wasn't just left alone outside. I greatly appreciate that. I look forward to taking him back in the near future.
I highly recommend Allison:)
Tomas always has a good time at Allison's. He is always eager to get out of the car when we get there but for some reason has a hard time getting into the car when we picked him up.
This was my first time using DogVacay, and I enjoyed the process. Allison was friendly and took great care of my two German Shepherds, even after a poop mishap as I was bring my senor girl in the front door. Plus she gave a great bath to my girl, a long hair German Shepherd.
We are traveling around the US in our motor home and are currently in Escondido. We had to leave town (not in the RV) and couldn't take our boy, Cisco. We interviewed with Allison at her home and felt very comfortable with Cisco staying with her in our absence. The daily text and photo updates REALLY helped me not to worry about him---in fact, I was a little concerned that maybe he wouldn't want to come home with us. :0).... Well, he was VERY happy to see us but I think he still had a good time interacting with the other dogs and people at Allison's. It really was a DogVacay for Cisco. If we had to leave for awhile again and were in Escondido, we would definitely book with Allison!
I've told some people about DogVacay and they are very interested in usung the service as well. We will eventually be making Arizona our home and we will book someone from DogVacay in our area. I already checked online and there are several people we could interview to take care of Cisco.
My dogs, Fritz and Z'andar, were well taken care of. They went for walks and were accompanied by several guinea hens! When I came to pick them up they were quite relaxed. I'm sure they had a great time. They will be staying next month for a day and then in May for 16 days. I know Allison will take good care of my fuzzy friends!
Our Stella is a shy little rescue Aussie, and this was the first time we have taken her on vacation with us. she stayed with Allison for five days while we went on retreat, and we knew from the moment we dropped her off that it was going to be OK. The environment at Allison's place was low-key in a quiet neighborhood, and all was harmonious among her other guests. Allison herself is calm and professional and asked about Stella's preferences regarding sleeping, socializing, etc. best of all was the daily communication: we received a quick message with picture every day letting us know how our girl was doing. For (over)protective dog owners, this let us enjoy our time away without worrying. Next time we visit Escondido, we will definitely use her service again. Can't recommend highly enough.
