Our experience with this sitter, Rebekah, was poor. 0 stars. We will not be using this sitter again nor can we recommend her. Let me explain: While we were on vacation, we received a text from someone we do not know, stating that they found our lil dog Chelsea wandering the streets. I tried to get a hold of the sitter right after we found out but was not getting a prompt reply back from her. We then let Rover know about the situation (they were fantastic in trying to help us get in touch with the sitter). My family was very upset that Chelsea was not safe with the sitter so we decided to call a friend to pick up Chelsea at the persons house who found her roaming the streets (1/3 of a mile away from the sitters house). The sitter finally texted back to me so I told her to call me. I gave her a chance to explain (after all mishaps can happen, benefit of the doubt, etc.) She mentioned that Chelsea got out and went across the street for 5 minutes but was fine and back in her care (also mentioned in her text). Unfortunately, Chelsea did not just go across the street but 1/3 of a mile away is where she was with the person who found her. And it certainly was much much longer than 5 minutes since it takes a while to get far enough away, and the person who found her had to leave Chelsea with his neighbor since he had to finally leave. Well our friend ended up picking up Chelsea for us and kept her for the next 2 days until we got home (phew!). I then talked to the sitter and explained to her the situation as I understood it from the person who found Chelsea. I explained that we felt it was very irresponsible of her to allow Chelsea to get into a dangerous situation and on top of it not be forthright with how the situation took place. Her husband then got on the phone and started yelling at me at which point I had enough of trying to stay calm so I just hung up. (I wish I could attach her/my texts to this review, however, I unfortunately can not attach them). It's unfortunate that this happened but I think its important to review it for future folks who are looking for a quality, responsible sitter.

Clean place. Very nearby location. Rebekah asked all the approrpriate questions when i dropped my dog off, which instilled a lot of confidence in her care. She also gave frequent and detailed updates as asked for
