About Stacey

23 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
My dream of being a dog sitter started over 20 years ago. At the time I was in my late twenties working as a sales representative but I longed to work with animals and to do something that matters and makes a difference in the lives of people and their dogs. I volunteered at our local animal shelter in foster care and I also fostered puppies in my home who were too young to be adopted. I took care of pregnant mama dogs as well as those were sick, or injured.

Fast forward to today and I am in an entirely different season of my life but my love for animals, especially dogs, has never waned.

My home is comfortable and dog friendly. I do not freak out about "accidents" and dogs are always allowed on the furniture. My yard has plenty of room to run and play ball or take a sun bath on the back patio. In the summer, there is lots of shade to relax in.There is a doggy door available for added convenience. My fence is a 3' 8" picket fence which is why I cater exclusively to small dogs. Additionally, some very small dogs can get through the space between the slats in my fence so I evaluate that on a case by case basis. I also require your dog to wear a well fitting collar with id tag reflecting current, accurate contact information.

I am responsible and I value excellent customer service. My friends trust me with their beloved dogs and I am honored by that. I believe dogs are family members and I care for them accordingly. To me, its a ministry of sorts where I can serve people in a tangible way by caring for their dog which means they can travel worry
free knowing their fur baby is in good hands.

2 weeks vacation in China and there is Stacey to help me out. She is the best provider for the animals and cares deeply for them all. God bless you Stacey!
October is the busy month of working for me so Stacey, as usual, came to my rescue. This time we had a new little one Rylie for Lickota to play with.
Stacey is always there when I need her and thank God for that!!
My second visit with Stacey and honestly I do not have the words to say how blessed I am to have found her!! Linda
My first trial with Stacey and she is awesome. I wouldn't have any other petsitter for my Lickota!
I was pleased with Stacey all the way from her quick response time, to the meet-n-greet to the drop off and the pick up of our fur babies. It appeared that they were happy and well taken care of while in Stacey's care and even made a new friend...Tallie. Thank you for giving us a piece of mind and allowing us to have a nice relaxing vacation!

We are totally delighted with the care and attention our little Cammie received on her 8-day Vacay (which I worried would become a Va"stay" from the looks of the Cammiegrams that Stacey sent--she was having such a good time). I think Stacey and her family (including their own dog) enjoyed our pet, and I know Cammie enjoyed her stay. I don't think we could have found a better match or place for Cammie to be a bit social and still have her own time and place, than with Stacey.

We could not have been more pleased with the excellent care that Stacey and her family provided for our miniature dachshund mix, Macy. She closely followed our instructions and provided a safe, welcoming and engaging environment for her. We appreciated the pictures and updates that she sent us. We will not hesitate to use her services again and would highly recommend Stacey for anyone looking for a home away from home for their precious dog!

I could have not asked for a nicer person to watch my Lickota. I have been interviewing and doing meet-and-greets for some time and finally found the one and only person I will use. I have already booked her for my vacation in June and November. Be assured you will not be sorry for taking your pet to Stacey daytime or an overnight!
