About Erika

20 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
We are opening our home to your furry friend because as a dog owner we know how important it is to know that your furry friend is being well taken care of while you are away. Kennels may be cost effective but they are often sterile and very stressful for your pet. We would like to offer a safe, fun and stress-free space for your pet to go while you are vacationing. Your furry friend will have a Serta Dog Bed to sleep on and several walks a day because after all, they deserve a little bit of vacation too. Our town-home is cozy and safe and your dog will be well loved while you are away.

A bit of background about us as a family. I have just earned my Masters Degree in Management from Charleston Southern University and have been employed by MUSC for over 10 years. My husband is employed by one of the local TV stations for almost 20 years now.
We have over 20 years of experience with canines, felines, and birds and I have extensive experience caring for elderly and post-surgery dogs. I am comfortable administering subcutaneous medications as well as any oral medications that may be needed. So, rest assured, your pet will be well cared for by an experienced dog owner.

Drop-offs and pick-up times are open on Saturday and Sunday, weekdays need to be discussed before I can accept a reservation. I offer in-home visits in addition to boarding and I offer a first timecustomer discount price, so email me for a meet and greet to discuss. We look forward to meeting you and your furry family member.

Erika Lloyd is highly recommended as an individual business owner and pet sitter. Erika has a pleasant disposition to all she meets, is very dependable, and compassionate. She maintains professionalism at all times and strives to do her best for you as the customer and the care of your beloved pet.

Erika is very health oriented and utilizes natural ingredients for homemade dog treats. She will ask each owner specifics about their pet which allows the animals in her care to have continuity in a home away from home environment. It is difficult for any owner to leave their pet but Ms. Lloyd ensures the highest possible care is given which makes the temporary transition smooth and worry-free for all parties involved.

Erica was great. She sent updates each visit. The dogs were not stressed out when we got home which was terrific. Will definitely use Erica again and recommend her.
Erika and her husband were absolutely wonderful! Betty Lou had so much fun and was exhausted when we picked her up. Erika sent me pictures daily and even gave Betty her own Christmas presents. I highly recommend this very loving couple to watch your furry friend at Baxter's Bed and Biscuit!

Cookie loved his stay with Erika. They treated my boy like a king and sent me many adorable pics of his Vacay - it was clear he was very comfortable there. I got him back and he was happy and healthy - I'm pretty sure he wanted to stay with his new family.
