***BARKAHOLICS WANTED***

Pet care experience

ASK ME HOW YOU CAN RECEIVE $20.00 OFF YOUR FIRST STAY BOOKED THROUGH Rover WITH ANY SITTER IN ARIZONA & STATES WHERE Rover is offered. For more photos on Instagram search for: Barkizona ABOUT ME: I'm 35, and l love dogs! I have never met a "bad dog" and even the most challenging pet has a special place in my heart. I look at those little fur balls as full of personality. When your pet is with us, I like to think of my home and your pet's experience in staying with us as staying over at the cousin's house. Remember as child staying the night at the cousin's or your best friend's house? Wasn't it a blast? I try my best to make your pet feel as comfortable as possible so as to calm their nerves, and the separation anxiety especially if it's their first time away from home. Your pet will have a lot of free range in my home and are welcome to lay on the couches we have downstairs. We have reconfigured our floor plan so that it's more suitable for your pet's stay which ensures optimal attention for your pet and time spent with us. I've been dog sitting for a couple years, starting with family and friends and once the opportunity with Rover presented itself, I signed up immediately as a sitter. I have owned pets through out my entire life and currently have a very well-behaved Shar Pei and a rather feisty, tea-cup Chihuahua. I have a great deal of experience administering injections as I used to have a diabetic cat who unfortunately passed away from the disease so I'm comfortable giving your pup medication. I enjoy my time dog sitting. Rover is not only a second income, but also a passion that I've discovered to care for animals. I'm truly passionate about your pet as he/she will develop a special place in my heart before they leave. I miss them when they are gone and speak of your pet frequently with friends and family. I love sharing photos on IG as well as Facebook of my pet adventures. I have quite a few regular customers and hope to continue to grow my sitting services. ***PLEASE READ*** - Pets will be fed in different parts of the home so as to avoid aggression and conflict. Some pets may be kenneled during feeding depending on their temperament around food. - I have Rover's Premium Insurance should any incidents occur. I pay extra for this insurance for the safety of your pet. - I have a feeding schedule of morning and evening and the food is put away after. I do not let my pets graze throughout the day as this controls their weight and again prevents aggression and conflict over food. - I will contact you immediately should I notice anything suspicious about the behavior or health of your pet.

Lindsey is great. Harley and Zeus let her walk them after just meeting her. She shows up on time and does a good job. We will definitely use Lindsey again.

We hired Lindsey to care for our two dogs while we traveled for a long weekend. She was easy to communicate with and very friendly to our dogs. She sent plenty of status updates, as well as, photos showing our pups having a wonderful time. Lindsey’s rates were very competitive and she provided an excellent, thorough service. Would recommend her and will definitely use her again. Thanks Lindsey!!

Lindsey was great watching my dogs while I was out of town. She kept me updated with the visits and how the dogs were doing along with pictures. I will definitely re-book with Lindsey next time.

Information Lindsey S. would like to know about your pet

Some info from you that would help me is: - Is your pet kenneled at night? If so please bring the kennel. - Are you okay with me kenneling your pet while I run errands or pick my son up from school? This is for their safety, and the safety of other pets in the home. If so please bring a kennel if you don't have one, I have one. I prefer yours, because it has the scent of your home and this is comforting for your pup. - Are okay with me using an Ultrasonic Collar (non-invasive and shock free) to keep excessive barking to a minimum? I live in an HOA, and I try to respect my neighbors. The collar would be used for excessive yelpers, barkers and extreme situations and WILL BE removed once the barking is under control. I use this as a training tool and have had great success with it. - Can I give your pet treats and what kind? If not that is okay too. - Is your pet potty trained? If not, that is okay, I will work with them and prepare for their stay. I have potty pads, etc... - Is your pet current on their vaccinations? If so and if you can provide proof from your vet. You will receive an additional $3.00 off daycare; $5.00 off your pet's stay for 2-3 nights; $7 for 4 nights and $10.00 off 5 or more nights. - How much does your pet weigh? Pricing is subject to change what my current rate is set at depending on your dog's size, behavior, etc...

A typical day

Working from home, I will be able to let the dogs out every couple of hours for potty breaks or if they tell me sooner. In the summer months we'll go on a short walk in the morning and a short walk in the evening. I live on Chaparral Park and am able to walk your pet to the dog park any time I want. In the winter, spring and fall months we practically live at the park. I will often ride my bike around the park to exercise your pup or take them out to the park for potty breaks at least 3x a day. I'm a pretty avid hiker and love the outdoors. If you're comfortable with it, I would take your pet on adventures with me. I baby sit a boxer who loves to go on hikes with me and my two other dogs. All of these activities depend on your comfort level. The very least, your pup will enjoy many hours at the park with me. We have a few toys in the home, if your pup has a favorite toy, please pack it in their overnight bag. :)
