Hello! We are Selina and Sarah, owners and creators of Bark and Howl Dogcare. We started this business with the goal in mind to help our own puppy make new friends as she grows. As we both have a passion for animals and many years of experience caring for dogs, we believe we have made the right decision. As each pup has specific needs, we will accommodate for them in whatever way necessary and possible to ensure they have a stress-free, enjoyable stay at our home. Our home is set up to guarantee the safety of your dog as certain rooms and areas are restricted by the placement of pet gates. We are also in walking distance of many parks and trails that your dog will love to explore. Does your dog often get lonely when away from you? They will be able to play and interact with our own pup throughout their stay, promising that they will make a new companion to comfort them. Since we will be with your pet on a 24/7 basis while they stay with us, a typical day will have the scheduled feeding that you have provided us with as well as regular walks (typically 20-30mins each but specific accommodations can be made). Also, frequent visits to the local field where they can play and interact with many other dogs of all ages and sizes (for safety precautions your dog will stay on leash at all times). Water will always be made available to your dog as well as plenty of time to relax after exercise. Throughout the day photo updates of your pup will be sent to you, if requested, to put your mind at ease while they are away from home. Since we do currently live in an apartment complex, your pup does need to be comfortable with elevators and stairs. Although we can change our routine so that your dog will not visit the field to play with dogs, they must be comfortable around dogs, including puppies, as we have one of our own that will be around your dog at all times. Food, bowls, blankets, leash, and any other necessities must be provided by the owner. If your dog is staying over night, a crate must be provided as well. We have both had dogs in the past and have many years of experience with caring and training dogs. We can ensure their stay will be fun and full of adventures.
