My dog Gabe is the good cop, I'm the bad cop. Gabe will play, be silly, and drool on your dog, a lot.
I will keep your dog safe, feed him what you tell me to, and make sure he takes his meds. Your dog can sleep on the bed, however, because in the end, I'm an advocate of community policing. Plus, I get cold.
Also, Gabe and I freaking love to walk. Your dog will get walks, OH YES.
And the pets. And the loves.
We will all have a ridiculously good time, because I'm only 25 percent doing this for retirement money, and 75 percent because when I dog-sit for friends, I simply want to cry when they take their dogs home again. I love to sit. I want to sit YOUR DOG. Good boy. Woof.
Some important business-y stuff:
-I have a new kitty. If your dog likes to try to stuff kitties in his mouth for fun, you might want to look for a different sitter.
-I charge for half days. For example, if you bring your dog to me on Friday morning and don't pick her up until Saturday night, I will charge for 1.5 days instead of 1. Most kennels would charge two days for that, so I have ZERO guilt about that. :)
-Try to bring only the food and bedding that your dog needs. Toys and treats tend to get lost in the fray, and I have plenty of both to keep your dog entertained.
-Please bring a kennel if your dog needs kenneling when I'm out. I work weekdays during the day, and can come home for lunch, but if your dog isn't used to being alone for a work day, you might want to look for a sitter who stays home more.
