About Tina

30 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
While new to Dog Vacay, I am definitely not new to caring for and loving lots of animals. I feel like each of my clients that have been here are part of our extended family. We miss them when they go and look really forward to their return. I have been caring for horses, dogs and cats for 30 years and love animals of all kinds.

I have been pet sitting for the last 10 years and have had lots of different breeds both small, medium and large. I have enjoyed caring for them all! I have had diabetic cats, post surgery dogs and have had dogs with separation anxiety as well as ones that were aggressive towards people, other animals, leashes, and food. I am patient and have found ways to communicate with each one of these animals. I have never had an issue where an animal was not responsive to the attention and compassion we share in our home with all animals.

If you want your pet showered with lots of attention and affection while you are not there, than I'm your person. I treat all the pets in our home like members of our family.

I enjoy getting lots of exercise so taking the dogs for extra walks a few times a day is definitely in my schedule.

I work at home as an HR Consultant, so your family member would not be alone during the day.

PLEASE NOTE: Rates are quoted on DogVacay for 24 hours. If your reservation is over 24 hours, you will receive an invoice for the time over the 24 hours. It is a minimal fee since the rate is only $25 per 24 hours it would be $1 for each hour over 24 hours with a minimum of $5 charge (due to DogVacay fees). Thanks for understanding!

We recently adopted a puppy and had looked into boarding facilities nearby to house our dog while on vacation. DogVacay came to our attention and we found Tina...what a blessing! It was a little strange to be leaving the newest addition to our family with a stranger but Tina quickly eased our fears and welcomed our puppy into her home. It was the best situation and environment for our pup. She received lots of attention from Tina's family and played endlessly with their loving dog. We even noticed our puppy seemed to have better manners after her stay with Tina. Highly recommend Tina and her family for watching your dog...we certainly will request the next stay for our dog with Tina!
I could not be happier with my dog's stay with Tina.
It was great to be gone and know that our dog was receiving such good care.
Tina was wonderful. This was the first time our dog has ever been in a place where he didn't know anyone. Tina and her family took great care of our dog and he was well taken care of. Thank you, Tina!
Tina and her family were great! Both of my girls came home happy, healthy, and tired from all the excitement! I have a 2 mini Australian Shepherds, 1 is almost 3 years and the other is only 3 months! Thanks so much for taking such great care of them! I would definitely recommend Tina and will be using her again!
Tina did great watching my recently rescued dog that hasn't had much socialization. It sounds like Felicia was a bit of a handful, but Tina knew how to handle it and Felicia came home very tuckered out and happy! Tina's dog, Copper, is a very friendly loving dog, he even wanted to come home with Felicia! Thank you, Tina!
Tina was amazing! She was so great with my dog "Pablo" & really set my mind at ease while I was out of town. I knew my little guy was in great hands & it made all the difference. Excellent experience. Thanks so much :)
Tina was a great dog sitter for Winston. I really appreciated that she was flexible with drop off and pick up times because I was traveling and didn't get back until late at night. Winston had a BLAST playing with Copper all week. It was very nice knowing that Winston was in good hands and having fun while we were on vacation. We look forward to using her again, possibly during the day so Winston can play with Copper while we are at work!
My dogs had a great time with Tina and Copper.
Will go back! Great experience!
Tina and her family are very sweet and it is very clear that she loves dogs and knows them well. Copper is an incredibly sweet and well trained young husky who we loved meeting as well. Copper was very excited to meet Daisy, and Daisy was not very happy about that, but they both calmed down and coexisted just fine after a little while. He really wanted to play! - unfortunately, Daisy is a bit of a party pooper when it comes to that as she is older and not very well socialized with other dogs. Tina was very good about introducing them to each other and was totally fine with keeping them separate the entire time if she felt that that was needed. I felt like Daisy was in safe hands.

I received plenty of updates on Daisy throughout her stay. I would highly recommend Tina as a doggysitter!
Tina took great care of Molly. Gave us updates on her stay. When we picked Molly up she acted as she was one of Tina's family. Overall great experience will use her again
Tina was great! Would use her again!
Charlie appears to have had the best time ever with Tina and her family this weekend--he's been out cold since we got home he's so exhausted from all the playtime! Tina and her family (and Copper too!) were all so welcoming to Charlie and took great care of him while I was away. I greatly appreciated Tina's flexibility with drop off and pick up times. Thanks Tina, Copper, and family for making finding a great place for Charlie to stay easy, we will be back again in the future!
Tina was a great host for my anxious, high energy border collie mix! After telling Tina that Juno is an anxious dog, Tina suggested we come over a few days prior to leaving Juno with her so that they could meet and Juno could get over her initial nervousness. I think this ended up being a great idea, since Juno was super excited to get to Tina's the day of our booking with Tina! Tina's dog Copper was very patient and friendly with Juno. We will definitely use Tina for dog boarding again in the future!
Tina was great with my 3 dogs. One of my Chihuahua is a mommas boy (my boy) but she had him out of his shell by 2nd day, which is unusual for him to get that comfortable that soon. Plus my little Frenchy was running back to her house when we were trying to go home!
Tina s dog Copper was a great playmate too!
I will recommend Tina to anyone!
Tina also sent pics of my babies too!
I had to extend my time away for a half a day and Tina was very accommodating about the added time. Thanks again, Tina!
I had to leave town on short notice and Tina was able to take care of my little girl, Delilah, for the weekend and her fur baby, Copper, played so much with her that she passed out immediately when she got home! Thanks, Tina and I'll be in touch if she ever needs a place to stay again
My puppy had a great time and was worn out from playing with her dog when he came home. He was sad to leave his new friends.
A great experience for us and our furry kids. Like family caring for family. The text photos and messages were very helpful, as this was our and their first time away from home while we were away. Both of our pets benefited from socializing with Copper, and they will be friends forever. Thanks for for the love.
