Hi my name is Shannon and I'm a teacher currently living and working in Manhattan. I've grown up with dogs all of my life, and began helping to take care of them at a very young age. I have extensive experience boarding and sitting dogs for my neighbors, friends, and through multiple dog watching services. I also used to volunteer at an animal shelter in New Jersey for two years. My home has a ton of roaming space (including a large, private, fenced backyard!) and is minutes away from great walking paths and a dog park. I take pride in the attention and love I give to the dogs that I watch, and I'm excited to take my knowledge and love for dogs to help take care of your furry loved one too!

Shannon was truly a great sitter. She was able to take care of Tiny very last minute which I appreciate. She was very flexible and followed Tiny’s schedule. Her roommate, Brielle, was also great. I would recommend both of them if you’re looking for a home away from home for your pets!
We are just so happy Shannon took on the challenge of our two huskies. They are a handful and love her! :) :)

I’m located in the ground floor of a brownstone with plenty of roaming space in my 1-bedroom. I have a pup of my own named Luna who is fantastic with all people and animals. I also have a large, fenced in, private backyard. I’m happy to work with my clients on a pet-to-pet basis for any specific boarding needs.

A typical day
I aspire to keep dogs engaged, active, and happy! Walks and playtime are very important to my daily dog care routine. My pup, Luna, I’d the perfect mate to play with and is great at monitoring other dogs and their desires/abilities to play as well. My apartment is very close to fun walking paths, parks, and a dog run.

My partner and I share our home, and one of us is ALWAYS home. A typical day includes a consistent eating schedule, regularly scheduled walks either in parks, along the water, or to the dog run, and tons of belly rubs and playtime.
