My name is Averill and DOGS are my hero's. I have Loved & owned dogs all of my life. I currently own a beautiful male European Basset Hound . Dogs have literally saved my life.Once as a child, I almost drown in a lake my Newfoundland pulled me out of the water. Another time a bullie attacted me and my Newfoundland jumped up and knocked the attacker on the ground . I have a strong bond with all of my dogs. I have owned German Shepards, Newfoundland's, Labradors, Siberian huskies, Akitas, Basset Hounds, Basenjis to name a few. I grew up in CONN. and grew up with many dogs and horses .I have trained my dogs obedience and conformation classes. Currently, I am fortunate to live in a very Dog Friendly city ST.PETERSBURG, FL. I enjoy taking my dogs for long walks. I also live in a very SAFE community. I have always cared for my own dogs and I have Never given up a dog when it was sick or old. I believe dogs are part of the family and deserve to be respected for their loyalty and love they give unconditionally to their family. I live in a very dog friendly, safe neighborhood, a gated community on 15 acres of walking trails with a lake and a dog park. I enjoy long walks my Basset Hound is very sociable and loves to meet new people and play with other dogs. I believe safety is most important when caring for dogs. The dogs I care for will enjoy their vacation time with me. I will provide lots of fun, excersizing, playing, sleeping, eating and getting lots of Love and attention.
