About Austin

15 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
Hi I have been in the pet business for 5 year and have had pets all my life. Right now I have two dogs two cats along with some lizards and fish. My family loves to spend time outside when Ohio weather allows it. Fetch is a daily game we play with the dogs, long walks are also a favorite! My whole family loves animals, so your dog will be treated like family. We hope to have your dog join us for some fun!

Very flexible with drop off and pick up times!
Austin and his family were great with my little puppy.
Rocco is just 8 weeks and has just started being potty trained, Austin was very patience and comprehensive with this.

His house is great to get your dog to socialize since he has 2 dogs, 2 cats and 2 kids, this was a big plus for us since we were looking into socializing Rocco at an early age.

When we picked him up he was so happy and well feed that I wont think it twice on leaving him again with Austin.

The best part is that they are never left unattended, not even for a couple of hours, that was also something important for us since he is so tinny we were afraid of him getting hurt or something.

I was very late trying to find a sitter over fourth of July weekend, after the kennel I usually use had no room. I sent Austin a message, which he immediately replied to. He took both of my dogs for 6 nights (7 days) on my word that they wouldn't have a problem with his cats, dogs or small children.

He sent regular pictures via text message throughout my trip. My dogs appeared very happy, and had a lot of attention. They had ample time outdoors, and Lilly tells me she had enough petting- which is remarkable.

What is most astonishing is his response time to messages. If you are worried about your dogs, and want updates, he is your guy. Also, he seems very flexible and easy going. Basically, he said, whatever time you want to drop off and pick up was fine by him.

So whats the catch you ask? Well, to be fair, he is a little pricey. It cost me roughly twice as much to board my dogs with him, as it would my regular kennel. Is it worth it? I don't know. I do feel a lot better having received pictures, as well as knowing that they get a lot of time outdoors. Also, my dogs tend to get bullied a little bit by larger or more aggressive dogs; I think they enjoyed the time at his place a lot more than at the kennel.

tl;dr:
Pros:
1. Communication is unbelievable.
2. Flexible schedule.
3. A lot of time outdoors.
4. Good food (Iams).
5. A lot of pictures.

Cons:
1. A little pricey.

If you want a sitter or are on short notice, you can't go wrong with Austin.
