I am a 60-year, young-at-heart woman that has just returned from six plus years in Africa, living aboard the M/V Africa Mercy volunteering with an organization called Mercy Ships. I started my pet sitting journey this past winter in New York and have fallen in love with taking care of the animals. I arrived back in the states in October 2013. My plan was to drive cross-country to settle in California in January. With the weather being so bad I had to delay my trip. Not knowing when I was going to be able to leave, I called a friend that has a pet sitting business and asked her if she had any double bookings that I could help her out with and that is how it all started for me. I'm amazed at how my heart overflows for these animals and I have decided to continue taking care of them. This is my only job so your pets get my undivided attention. I tend to be a homebody. I love reading, I make jewelry and I have been spending time on the net growing my business. The animals that I have had the privilege of taking care of have all given me something wonderful. Their own personalities are such a delight, they make me laugh with their quirks, their playtime, their expressions. I feel that we give so much to each other. I would love the opportunity to take care of your pets and your home and give them the tender care they deserve.
