About Jo

20 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
Jo D. has been involved in animal welfare for more than a decade. After successfully founding and overseeing a nationally recognized and accredited horse rescue from 2004 to 2015, Jo wrapped up her time in the animal rescue world and decided to take a new path, one that would continue to enrich the lives of our furry loved ones as well as her own.

She decided to create Auntie Jo's Cuddly Critters Pet Sitting to provide loving, responsible pet owners with knowledgeable, personalized, caring animal care.

From indoor fur babies to outside family companions, Jo and her staff bring years of experience to care for your furry family members!

We provide full doggy care in your home - feeding, wash and refill water, play, snuggle time, exercise, walks, treats if allowed, etc. Each visit is tailored to each individuals needs.

In addition to the doggy crew and horse crew we care for, we provide full kitty care - litter box scooping, feeding, wash and refill water, play, snuggle time, etc (as well as other animal care) and have 3 of our own feline gang (Spooky Kitty, Pumpkin and Molly Mittens).

We also can provide in our home care for single families for stays up to one week (we host only one dog family at a time) we have a separate play room area, each dog is fed separately and we have a secured fenced yard (which they are never out in without supervision at all times).

I can not think of a single person that has more diverse experience (that isn't a licensed vet) than Jo. For this reason, she is my first call when I need advice, whether it's training or health/care questions. She genuinely loves all animals and treats them with great kindness and attentiveness. I've seen her handle emergency situations with a calm, clear head, which is an invaluable trait. I highly, HIGHLY recommend Jo!

Jo was a great host-mom for Delilah. She sent lots of pictures and took wonderful care of our furry family member while we were gone. We will definitely be calling Jo again! Thanks ;) Tammy, Brit, Riley and Delilah
