As a mother of two dogs, I know the struggle of finding dog care that is both affordable and comfortable for your dog. On the one hand, every owner may want to occasionally go on a day trip or a weekend getaway! On the other hand, it's difficult finding a place to leave your puppy children that makes both you and your pups feel comfortable. It is my mission to give your fur babies a safe, fun, and comfortable place to stay while you're away!
I have over 3 years of experience volunteering at various animal shelters in the central Texas area. As a volunteer, I socialized and walked the dogs, as well as took pictures of them for the shelter's website. It was such an honor getting to interact with all kinds of dogs. As the photographer, I took my job seriously and felt my pictures made a big contribution in eventually getting each dog adopted. Needless to say, I have plenty of experience with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and needs!
My two girls (Ladybird and Gracie May) love doing all sorts of things, so I can alter our day to fit the needs of your dogs! If your dog prefers to lay around and be loved on, we can spend the day on the couch. If your dog prefers to be active, we can spend the day playing in the backyard. I can tailor my schedule to meet your dog's needs as well as send picture updates to keep your mind at ease!
As you can see in the pictures of our house, we have a good size yard with plenty of room to run and play around. We have an open floor plan that gives dogs access to the living room, kitchen, and our "pup" room. Because we have a dachshund mix, we have plenty of blanket, beds, and a bean bag for our Laybird to burrow. Your dogs would be welcome to sleep in the same room as our dogs or we could set them up in one of our guests rooms. We encourage doggie parents to bring beds, toys, blankets, or anything that would help your babies feel at home. However, should you not be able to bring any of those things, they will all be provided!
