Pet care experience
I have been surrounded by dogs my entire life. As of April 2014 I adopted my dog, Atlas, and fell in love. He was a stray and very anxious/neurotic when I first got him. He is now complimented regularly on what a well-behaved and happy dog he is. I'm surrounded by dogs at my day job as well, and have met and socialized with dogs of all different comfort levels, backgrounds, and sizes. At said day job, I was voted most likely to be "dogstracted" because I get so excited whenever new dogs or puppies come in. Being around dogs makes my days better. My schedule is in flux, but I only work PT at a bar at the moment. When I agree to a sitting or walking job it's because I 100% know it will work with my schedule and I have the time to devote to your pup or cat. I know what important members of the family pets are and want to give you the same peace of mind I enjoy having with my dog when I'm away.

We were so impressed with Grace's experienced and kind handling of our Stewie! She was so thoughtful and generous with her time and knowledge. We got great updates from her that were reassuring and made us laugh, and Stewie was just glowing with contented happiness when we picked him up. We're going to book her again for our trip next month! We're so glad to have found Grace! :)

I have known Grace for years, and if there is one thing in this world she loves, it is dogs. And boy, do they love her! Grace's nurturing but firm "Mama Bear" personality makes her a natural pack leader. Even dogs with anxiety issues can't help but feel calm under her care and protection. She loves dogs for their unique personalities, and appreciates each pup as they are. She sets very clear boundaries that help each dog she works with feel secure and definitely loved. Her dog Atlas is the sweetest thing on the planet, and has grown into an upstanding canine citizen and role model under Grace's care and training. You'd be a fool not to let this girl enhance your furry best friend's life!

My dog is very cat and dog friendly. He's been around many animals of varying temperaments and is either playful or ambivalent towards them. We prefer to petsit for folks with fenced in yards, but are happy to do walks and drop-ins for people without! If I walk or petsit your dog, my dog will be accompanying to give your pooch some extra socialization.

I ask that vet information be clearly posted and given ahead of time, in case of emergency. If you won't be available to reach at a given time, please have an emergency contact planned as well. If your dog or cat has certain behaviors that I need to know ahead of time, please feel comfortable to let me know! I'm likely still going to agree, but want to know if I need to take additional steps to provide them with the best care possible.
A typical day
My dog and I try to do at least 2-5 miles of walking a day. If I'm petsitting or walking your dog, they'll be tagging along for the journey! Wapato Dog Park and Chambers Bay Dog Park are great fenced in off-leash areas we frequent as well. The dogs there have always had great temperaments when I've gone. I'll likely find new paths in your neighborhood to walk your dog around as well, and when petsitting your dog I'll happily have them with me if I go to dog-friendly restaurants!

Currently only working PT as a bartender so my schedule is open to love on your animals and give you peace of mind! I typically go on walks with dogs during the day, rain or shine!
