Pet care experience
For the discerning owner who would prefer your furry children be cared for in their own home while you're away- I can stay at your home or host your pet at mine! I understand that pets are often more comfortable in their own home. I have a dog and cat of my own. If your dog is friendly with other dogs we can go on walks together! I love animals of all shapes and sizes. I will gladly take your pooch for a walk and/or run, depending on their ability/fitness and the weather conditions. I've had dogs around my entire life and I have experience working in a grooming/board facility and a vet clinic. I’m also a total cat lady and think cats are fantastic.

Shane was wonderful!! Took care of our two dogs at our home for a week. Couldn't have been happier with everything. It was great knowing they were well cared for and able to stay in their own home during our vacation. Shane went above and beyond what I could have expected. They were well cared for; updates were sent daily on how they were doing. Took them for walks and tended to anything they needed. Very highly recommend to anyone wanting TLC for their dogs while they are away.
For some reason the link wouldn't let me click the stars but we give Shane a 5!. The dogs were happy and well cared for when we got home and the house was just as we left it. Instructions were followed to a T. Shane is great and we will happily have her sit for us again.
Shane stayed with our two pups at our house for 6 days/5 nights while we went on vacation. Our older dog is very high maintenance and requires quite a few pills multiple times a day and Shane was able to handle it, even though he can be a stubborn dog. Shane took good care of our dogs and sent us a few photos and regular updates. We would definitely welcome her back to take care of our dogs.
Shane stayed at our home with our two pups for eight nights while we were on vacation. We've never left them for that long before and were a bit nervous, but Shane's care and enthusiasm for our dogs made the experience alot easier and calming. She came to our house twice before we went on vacation to meet the dogs and then to go over everything they'd need for the week. She sent pictures to us of their outings, and they seemed to feel safe and comfortable with her. It was especially helpful that she came home during her lunch break to take them outside for a potty break. Dogs can't talk, but if Barley and Socrates could, I'd think they'd say that they enjoyed having Shane as their doggie sitter and would love the chance to snuggle her again.

I have a very open and flexible schedule. I am open days, evenings, most weekends and holidays. I enjoy encorporating my animals in my daily activities. I’m a nurse by trade and do pet sitting as a side hobby.
